Rose's POV

The day ended and I stick around after school because Drew was taking forever to meet up with me. We meet up and go to Starbucks and do homework. So I was waiting outside on the bench for him.

I was just playing a game on my phone and then I hear,

"Hey what are you doing here still?" Ashton says and I look at the clock. It's 3:30. Our school gets out at 2:45. Drew totally blew me off.

Then I get a text:

Drew: Hey, sorry can't go to Starbucks. We can hang out later. I'm sorry.

Of course. I probably look really stupid. Just sitting here.

"Um well I was waiting for someone but now I'm going home because they decided to not go." I smile my best smile and get up, walking away. I walk over to my car and unlock it. I sit down and put my backpack in the back of my car.

Then Ashton gets into the passengers seat, looking at me.

"What?" I say, looking back at him.

"You don't want to go home." He says as he looks into my eyes. He can read me like a open book.

"No I don't but I have to. So unless you're coming with me, I suggest you get out of my car." I say. I didn't feel like debating or venting at the moment.

"Ok well I'll put my seatbelt on so we can get going." He says and smirks.

"What?! No you can't come to my house." I say. I really didn't want him to come to my house.

"Why not?" He asks as he leans in closer.

"Because I don't want you to meet my mom or her boyfriend." I say and I honestly don't want him to. He doesn't need to meet them.

"Yeah well I'm coming." He smiles and sets his hand on my thigh, starting to move his hand. I close my eyes and sigh. Stupid pheromones.

"Fine ok. Don't seduce me. It's not fair." I smile and kiss him softly. I start the car and back out of my spot then leaving the parking lot. I plug in my phone and play my Ed Sheeran pandora station. The song Kiss Me comes on.

We drive in silence and then suddenly Ashton speaks out,

"We haven't been on an actual date yet have we?" He says as he looks at me.

"Well no we haven't. To be fair we fell in love with each other not very long ago. Also may I mention that if we get caught we're screwed." I say as I keep my eyes on the road.

"Yeah. You know why I fell in love with you so quickly?" He says and hearing him say that makes my heart skip a beat.

"Of course I don't." I say, laughing slightly. I don't get why I fell in love with me, I'm probably the worse person to fall in love with.

"Because you're so beautiful inside and out. When I saw your scars, I was shocked. I wish you weren't treated how you were so you wouldn't of done that. You just ruined your perfect skin." He says and my eyes start to tear up. My scars is a very sensitive topic. I stay quiet because I honestly don't know what to say. The silence fills the car and I finally pull up in my driveway.
