Tahu shouted in frustration when he saw the mask was missing. This woke up the other Toa. Lewa entered the room, rubbing his eyes.
"What's with all the yelling?" He asked.
"The mask is gone!" Tahu said. "Someone found the mask and gave it to me last night, and now it's gone!"
"Wait, what?!" This voice belonged to Gali, who had also entered the room. "You found the mask, and you didn't tell us?"
"I was going to do it in the morning." Tahu said. "But now it's gone again, and I have no idea where it could be!"
"Who gave you the mask?" Lewa asked.
"A girl. Her name was 3DS, I think." Tahu said. But that didn't matter to him. All that mattered to him was the culprit, who he was sure was Godzilla. He was suddenly overtaken by anger.
"It was Godzilla. I know it is!" He shouted.
"What? The Kaiju from the train?" Gali asked.
"How do you know it was him?" Lewa asked. Tahu stood up and sighed. He didn't want to tell the other Toa his reasoning, but now he had to.
"Before we left for this timeline, Ekimu told me something." He explained. "He told me that the Mask of Control would fall into the hands of a powerful Kaiju. And so far, all the evidence has pointed towards Godzilla. I'm sure he stole it."
"Okay, calm down, Tahu." Gali said. "We don't know it was him."
"Yeah, it could have been that Gigan dude." Lewa said. "Or maybe some other Kaiju we don't know yet."
Tahu nodded. They had a point, but his mind was made up. In his eyes, Godzilla was to blame. Suddenly, they all heard a loud siren from outside. They looked out the window, and saw many cars similar to the ones they saw at the museum, all rushing towards the hotel.
"Looks like something's wrong on the bottom floor." Gali said.
"We should check it out." Lewa said. Tahu and Gali agreed, and the three left the room and went down the the lobby. Police surrounded a door labeled "security". Tahu looked in and saw that a security guard had been murdered. But this wasn't what caught his eye. He saw something on one of the monitors. The police were looking over footage around the time of the murder, and they scrolled past something that confirmed Tahu's suspicion. It was Godzilla, breaking into their room and stealing the mask. Tahu clenched his fist. He was right the whole time. Godzilla was the Kaiju Ekimu warned him about.
"He has the mask already." Tahu muttered to himself. "I have no other options. I have to kill him."

"Finally." Ghidorah said, holding the Mask of Control in front of him. "The mask is mine! The power of Makuta belongs to me!"
"That mask better freaking work for all the trouble it caused." Gigan muttered. Ghidorah chuckled.
"Oh, it will." He said. "And with it, I will have the powers of a god!"
"Well go on." Biolante urged. She seemed just as excited as he was. They all were. "Put it on!"
"Patience. Now is not the time." Ghidorah said. "But tonight, I will unleash the power of control upon the world, and my reign will be supreme."
"Uh... Ghidorah?" Hedorah spoke up. "We've got a problem."
Ghidorah raised an eyebrow and placed the mask down on the control panel of his throne. He walked over to Hedorah, who was at the surveillance screen in the cockpit.
"What's going on?" He asked.
"We've got company." Hedorah said. He pointed to a figure walking through the corridors of the ship. He was of moderate height, and had long dark blue hair with grey streaks. He wore armour of gold and light blue, and held a hammer of the same colour in his hand. A shield sat on his back. The final thing Ghidorah noticed was his mask. It was the counterpart to the Mask of Control. According to legend, Makuta's brother owned the Mask of Creation, and Ghidorah recognized the figure's mask as this exact artifact. This was Ekimu, Makuta's brother.
"He's here for the mask." Ghidorah growled.
"How did he even get up here?" Gigan asked.
"That doesn't matter." Ghidorah said. "Lock the doors, and activate the defence protocol. Do not let him into this room!"
Hedorah nodded and pressed a button next to the screen. A massive metal door clamped down, sealing Ghidorah and the others inside. At the same time, doors clamped down on the hallways Ekimu was walking through. He looked at them in surprise, but he didn't seem worried. He appeared to charge up his hammer and used it to slam the door, knocking it down in an instant. Eventually, He came to the throne room. However, the door was stronger than the others. But this didn't stop Ekimu. He eventually broke through. But the others weren't about to let him in just yet. Hedorah and Destroyah were the first to attack. Ekimu easily dispatched them with a swing of his hammer, sending them flying into the wall across the room. Gigan was next, attacking with his arms in buzzsaw mode. Ekimu used his shield to block, and retaliated by knocking off one of Gigan's metallic arms by with his hammer, and knocking him out with a well placed blow to the chest. Biolante attacked with her vines, but this barely slowed Ekimu down. He jumped in the air, dodging the vines, and sent Biolante to the floor by smacking his shield into her face. Now it was just Ekimu and Ghidorah.
"Hello, King Ghidorah." Ekimu said.
"How do you know me?" Ghidorah growled.
"I possess a mask with the ability to see through time. I foresaw our encounter." Ekimu explained. "I assume you know who I am."
"Yes I do, Ekimu the Mask Maker." Ghidorah nodded. "You're here for the mask. You will leave empty handed."
"Ghidorah, you do not know the power you wield." Ekimu said, stepping foreword. "My brother was corrupted by the evil in his heart. His power will corrupt you as well, if you let it."
"I'm sure I can handle it." Ghidorah assured, grinning sadistically as he did. Ekimu didn't give up.
"I sense that you seek to use the mask for evil intent." He continued. "My brother's influence will sense this as well, and immediately corrupt you. I warn you; do not put on the mask. Give it to me now, and this will end without violence."
Ghidorah's grin grew wider. "Unfortunately, I must refuse. The mask belongs to me now. If you fight me, I assure you that you will fail."
"Fine then." Ekimu growled. He charged his hammer full of his elemental power, which glowed a bright blue. He ran towards Ghidorah and attacked by swinging his hammer, but Ghidorah dodged and trapped him using his gravity beams. He sent Ekimu backwards, slamming him into a wall. With another gravity beam, he sent Ekimu down to the floor. With one more beam, he grabbed Ekimu again and slowly brought him towards him. His mask had fallen off at this point, and Ghidorah could now see his face. He was obviously in pain, but was still determined to get the mask back.
"You don't know what you're doing." He said. "Please stop this. You must return the mask before it's too late!"
"It's already too late for you, Ekimu." Ghidorah said. He held up the mask in a taunting manner. "Perhaps I should allow you to observe as I test it out."
Ekimu's eyes widened. "No... don't do it!" He begged. But Ghidorah didn't listen. He removed his helmet and slowly placed the mask upon his face. As soon as the metal touched his skin, the mask shifted and transformed, locking itself around Ghidorah's face. The eyes began to glow purple as Ghidorah threw his arms back. His entire body began to glow the same shade of purple. Ekimu was dropped to the ground, and watched in horror as Ghidorah was lifted into the air. His armour began to transform. His shoulder plates grew larger, and his gauntlets grew to cover his entire arm. The claws and spikes on his gauntlets also grew larger. His boots went through a similar transformation. The golden colour on his armour gained purple highlights as they transformed. Even the mask itself began to grow, as the horns warped and transformed into a shape similar to Ghidorah's helmet. Finally, the glowing stopped, and Ghidorah fell back to the ground, landing on one knee along with his fist. His landing caused a large dent in the metal floor. He breathed heavily, but his breath was low and growly. He opened his eyes, and Ekimu could see they glowed a bright purple. Ghidorah stood up and observed his transformed form.
"Interesting..." He said. His voice had been transformed as well, sounding much lower and monstrous. "The mask has given me a new form."
"Hello, Ghidorah." A deep booming voice announced. Ghidorah's eyes widened.
"Who said that?" He asked.
"I did." The voice said. "I am Makuta. Thank you for finding my mask."
"Ah, I see." Ghidorah nodded. He realized the voice was coming from inside is mind. "So you are speaking to me through the mask?"
"Indeed. My spirit can not act on the physical plain, but through you, I can exact my revenge upon those who wronged me." Makuta growled.
"Hm... I like you, Makuta." Ghidorah complimented. "You and I are very much alike."
"My thoughts exactly." Makuta agreed. "Our goals are similar as well. As thanks for finding my mask, I have granted you the power to accomplish both our goals."
"Very well then." Ghidorah said. He looked down at Ekimu, who had now picked up his hammer and stared at Ghidorah with determination in his eyes.
"I won't let you leave this ship!" He said. Ghidorah chuckled and swung his arm out. He attempted to use a gravity beam, but instead, a purple energy shot out, trapping Ekimu in an orb of darkness. Ghidorah looked at his hand, confused.
"That was only a taste of the powers I have given you." Makuta said. "Tonight, we will show the world what we can do."
Ghidorah grinned underneath the mask. He heard a groaning from the other side of the room, and saw Gigan getting up. He quickly grabbed his other arm and locked it back into place. When he saw Ghidorah, he gasped, taken completely by surprise.
"Whoa." It was all he could think to say. "Ghidorah, is that you?"
"Yes, Gigan." Ghidorah nodded. "The Mask of Control has given me a new form."
"...Cool." Gigan responded.
"Indeed." Ghidorah said. "Take our guest to the airlock and keep him there until I say."
Gigan grinned as he saw Ekimu trapped in the orb. He touched the orb, and found it was tangible. It also floated above the ground. Gigan didn't understand it, but he thought it was cool. He began pushing it towards the airlock, out of the throne room. Ghidorah looked at his fist, producing a purple fire from inside his hand. He felt Makuta's power running through his blood. He chuckled evilly.
"Makuta, I believe this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship." He hissed.
