The trip from Tokyo to Hokkaido was going to take 4 hours. So the Toa and the Kaiju had a lot of time to kill. Rodan chose to spend his time walking around the train.
"I don't understand why Mothra and I can't just fly to Hokkaido instead of taking this boring train." He muttered. "We can both go way faster."
Just then, he saw a green blur fly past a window as he walked past. He raised an eyebrow and looked over at it, but assumed he was just seeing things. Shrugging, he was about to turn back around, when he saw another green blur. This time he was sure he saw it. He ran over to the window and looked outside, seeing a figure flying alongside the train. He didn't look like a Kaiju, but he certainly didn't look human either. Rodan wasn't sure what he was.
"What the hell..." He muttered. He shook his head and shrugged. Maybe the figure was a Kaiju, or maybe he was something else. Either way, it wasn't a big deal right now.
"I'll tell Godzilla about it, but I doubt it's important." He decided. He shrugged again, and continued his walk down the train.

The snow outside reminded Kopaka of his home back in the Ice region of Okoto. He smirked and crossed his arms as he leaned back in his seat. Meanwhile, Gali was sitting next to him. She was slowly getting closer and closer.
"You know... the others aren't here right now." She said.
"I'm aware of that." Kopaka nodded. Gali pouted, realizing he didn't see her point. Instead, he simply stared out the window. "I like this place much better than the city. It's more familiar, at least."
Gali rolled her eyes. She understood that Kopaka was cynical about most things, but if there was one thing he didn't mind, it was snow and ice. The only thing that made him happy was the cold. This gave Gali an idea, and she suddenly perked up.
"I'll be right back." She said. She got up and left before Kopaka asked where she was going. Instead, he shrugged. Just as he was about to go back to staring, someone came up to him.
"Excuse me, have you seen my sister?" The person asked. Kopaka noticed he had black hair, and yellow eyes, along with black, yellow, and red clothing. Upon first glance, Kopaka guessed he was evil. But he quickly shook the thought from his mind.
"What does she look like?" He asked.
"She has white hair and she's wearing a kimono." The person explained. The description sounded familiar.
"Is your sister Mothra?" He asked. The person's eyebrows furrowed.
"How did you know?" He asked. He seemed defensive.
"I saw her on the TV last night." Kopaka replied. The person relaxed upon hearing this, but Kopaka realized something.
"That would make you a Kaiju, wouldn't it?" He asked.
"It would. My name is Battra." He said. "So have you seen Mothra anywhere on the train?"
"Unfortunately, no." Kopaka replied. Battra nodded.
"She's probably with Godzilla." He muttered to himself. "Thank you anyway."
With a bow, Battra walked away down the train. Kopaka went back to looking out the window. He was surprised to see Lewa outside the train, flying next to it. When he saw Kopaka staring at him, he waved cheerfully. Kopaka groaned and drew the blinds on the window.

Mothra eyed the menu on the side of the wall carefully. After deciding she was hungry, she left her seat and went over to the concession car on the train. She was impressed by the wide selection of food available. She couldn't decide on what to get. While she looked it over, she didn't notice the dark blue haired girl walking towards her.
"You're Mothra, right?" She asked. Surprised, Mothra turned to the girl.
"Um... yeah." She said. "How do you know my name?" The girl smiled at her.
"I saw your interview on TV last night." The girl explained. Mothra remembered the interview and nodded.
"Oh, okay." She said. "Yeah, some of the other Kaiju and I are on the train protecting the Mask of Control."
"So it's actually on this train?" The girl asked. "Where is it?"
Mothra's smile fell. "Um... I'm not supposed to tell people where it is..." She said. The girl nodded.
"That makes sense." She said. "My name is Gali, by the way."
Mothra nodded and turned her attention back to menu. She furrowed her brow as she groaned slightly in frustration.
"I just can't decide what to get." She said.
"Do they sell ice cream here?" Gali asked.
"Looks like they do." Mothra confirmed, pointing to it on the menu.
"Perfect!" Gali said. She walked up to the concession and bought two cups of ice cream. With that finished, she began to walk past Mothra as she went back to her seat.
"It was really nice meeting you, Mothra." She said.
"You too, Gali." Mothra replied. But she still needed to decide what to get herself to eat. Finally, she saw something on the menu that she wanted. She smiled as she walked over to the counter.

Gali sat back down next to Kopaka and handed him a cup of ice cream. He eyed the frozen substance skeptically.
"What's this?" He asked.
"It's ice cream." Gali said. "I saw it last night. It's something they eat a lot in this timeline. Apparently, it's really good."
Kopaka watched as Gali ate her ice cream. It seemed safe. He gave in and shrugged, eating a spoonful from the cup Gali had given him. His eyes widened in surprise. It was delicious.
"Oh my goodness." He said. Gali giggled at his reaction.
"It's good, right?" She asked.
"It's amazing." Kopaka replied. "This is the single greatest thing I have ever tasted."
Gali giggled again. This was the first time she had seen Kopaka genuinely enjoy something. He didn't even notice when Gali leaned her head on his shoulder.
