Godzilla sighed and checked the time on his phone. He had been standing there for only half an hour, but it seemed like many more. He yawned and shook his head, though he perked up when he saw Mothra approaching him. She smiled and handed him one of the two champagne glasses she was holding.
"Hey. I thought you might want something to drink." She said. Godzilla smirked and took the glass, but frowned when he realized Mothra was drinking alcohol. She had a famously low alcohol tolerance. Godzilla was about to say something, before Mothra stopped him.
"Relax, it's just ginger ale." She said. "I know my limits." Godzilla smirked at her.
"So where's Battra?" He asked.
"He's back at the exhibit." Mothra said. "It's all about the legends and stories that archeologists have found about the mask. It's pretty interesting. Apparently, the wearer of the Mask of Control was named Makuta, and he had a brother named Ekimu. The two made powerful masks like the ones they wore, until Makuta went mad with power."
Godzilla nodded, but he wasn't really listening. He didn't really care about the legends. There was one part that caught his ear, however.
"Also, according to the legend, Ekimu recruited six warriors called the Toa." Mothra explained. "Each of them represented one of the elements."
"Really? That's kind of cool, actually." Godzilla nodded. "I wonder if there's any relation between Toa and Kaiju."
"I'd doubt it." Mothra said. "It's just a legend after all." Godzilla nodded, realizing she was probably right. Suddenly, he felt something on his shoulder. He brushed it off, and saw it was some sort of dust. He raised an eyebrow and looked up to where he guessed the dust came from, seeing a hole being cut in the roof. The hole just happened to be on top of a chandelier, which was hanging over him and Mothra. She didn't seem to notice. Before Godzilla could register what was happening, the chandelier began to fall.
"Look out!" He shouted, diving on top of Mothra to push her out of the way. The chandelier crashed right behind them. Mothra's eyes widened as she saw this.
"What the hell!?" She said. Godzilla got off of her and helped her up. Everyone in the room was now panicking and yelling about the shattered chandelier, aside from Mothra and Godzilla. Mothra attempted to help get everything under control, while Godzilla looked back up to the hole in the roof, only to see three figures he recognized repelling down on a cable. The cable came from Gigan, who was holding onto Biolante's waist. She had her arms wrapped around him as well. Hedorah was there too, holding onto the cable itself.
"Dammit." Godzilla muttered. He tapped Mothra on the shoulder, who turned her attention to the trio.
"Them again?" She groaned.
Anguirus, Rodan, and Baragon ran back into the room as well, followed by Battra. They all noticed the trio of Kaiju attempting to steal the mask. They formulated a plan quickly.
"I'll teleport back to Monster Island and get all our weapons." Battra said. Mothra nodded.
"I'll go with you." She said. They quickly teleported away in a green flash. Godzilla turned back to the mask display, watching as Hedorah dissolved the glass around it. He gritted his teeth. There was nothing he could do now, but he'd make sure to stop them before they got away.

"Can you hurry up?" Gigan snapped. "The crowd's not gonna keep panicking for long." Hedorah had his hands on the glass case surrounding the mask. It was slowly beginning to crack and melt.
"I'm working on it." Hedorah growled. "Glass takes a long time for me to dissolve."
"Uh oh." Biolante muttered, crossing her arms. "Guess who's here."
She pointed towards the crowd, where Godzilla, Rodan, Anguirus, and Baragon were staring at them intently. Gigan looked over at them and groaned angrily.
"Son of a... why do they have to ruin everything?!" He growled. He began morphing his arms into some sort of weapon, until he realized Godzilla and the others weren't doing anything.
"Wait a sec... Why are they just looking at us?" He asked. "Shouldn't they be trying to stop us by now?"
"They don't have their weapons." Biolante realized. She chuckled. "Looks like they can't do anything. This'll be easy."
Gigan smirked to himself, until he saw Mothra and Battra appear out of nowhere, carrying all their weapons in their arms. Gigan's eyes widened and he turned back to Hedorah.
"Might want to speed it up now." He said. "We've got company!"
"Hold them off until I can finish this." Hedorah said. Gigan nodded and transformed his arms into his regular blades. Biolante got into a battle stance as well.
"This should be interesting." She said.
