Prompt: You and Chris are close friends on the Ares III mission, and you started secretly dating. Once you get back, everyone finds out you're dating because of Chris' surprise. And your older brother has some words to say to Chris when he sees him.

You smile towards your boyfriend, you had just gotten back from the Ares III mission. The trip had taken longer then expected because of Mark getting stuck on Mars, of course Martinez teased him but after getting him back the trip home was a lot more joyful.

But something happened on the trip... You started dating your close friend Dr. Chris Beck. Once your brother found out, after you had returned home he had specifically asked that you bring Chris out to dinner with him and his fiancé.

You were nervous to say the least as to what would happen with your brother and Chris. You had just finished putting the final touches to make up, you shake your head slowly this would end just fine.

You grab your clutch and slide your phone in before answering the door, to a very nervous looking Chris "Hey." He gives you a small smile.

"Hey, Chris." He takes your hand in his.

"Ready to do this?" You smiled at his nervous state and nodded walking out of your apartment with him.

You finally get to the right place and walk in, your older brother Cole stands up smiling towards you. "There he is." You lead Chris over to him and smile.

"Hey, Y/n. You must be Chris?" Cole smiles and hugs you before shaking Chris' hand.

"Hey." You smile lightly.

"Hi." Chris agrees smiling.

"Well let's sit down and eat." You sit next to Chris across from Cole.

You each look over the menu and discuss various topics, you knew what Cole was doing. He would welcome Beck in and then tell him that if he hurt you there would be some serious consequences. You were just waiting anxiously.

You had started your meal and everything seemed to be going just fine "So Chris, tell me what interested you in my sister here." You froze.

Chris looked at your brother "Well, I was on the Ares III mission with her and spending time with her really opened my eyes to see how amazing she is." Chris answers.

Cole nods and looks at you "Chris, she is my baby sister." Cole pauses looking over at Chris who nods.

"I know that, and everything will be just fine I promise you that." Chris swallows hard.

"I trust you, but I'm telling you this. She's my baby sister, she's my best friend, and she will always tell me if you do anything stupid or harmful to her. And if I hear any of that I will kill you, and you don't have to worry about me going to jail because they won't find your body."

You were frozen and so was Tia Cole's fiancé, Chris just stared at Cole before nodding quickly.

"Ye-Yeah, I understand. But there's no need to worry about that." Chris takes your hand under the table and you smile shaking your head.

"You can talk a big game, but I'm pretty sure you can't play it." You smile towards Cole.

"Let's see if Dr. Beck over here test me." Cole smiles kindly.

Chris shakes his head "Nope, no playing for me." Chris nervously smiles.

"Welcome to the family Chris, I'm sure you'll be great to Y/n." Tia smiles.

"You better." Cole smiles.

"You're family is scary." You each laugh at Chris' comment.
