Thanksgiving Part 2 | Chapter 16

We gathered in the den and played a couple board and card games. "Truth or Dare?" Adam asked. Jess and Ross had this look on their face. Like they were up to something. Everyone agreed and I didn't give it much thought before agreeing too. "Okay I'll start," Adam said, "Jess! Truth or Dare?"

"Truth!" She screamed.

"What is your number one ship?"

"Hmmm," She said as he looked around the room, "Mithrine!" Max and I both had red faces. Nuggets ran over and licked my face. I fell back laughing as he continued. "Nugget! Sit!" I commanded. He did as I said and we continued.

Soon everyone got a turn except Max and I. Crap. It was Ross's turn to ask. "Max Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." I could tell he immediately regretted it.

"I dare you to Pocky Kiss Catherine!"

Our faces were red. "Every fucking time we play Truth or Dare its always this!!! We don't even have Pocky!" He yelled. Jess slowly pulled out a box of Pocky. He gave her the finger and took the box. He gave me the side with more chocolate, and when we got to the middle, we kissed for five seconds. We saw a flash go off and looked around. My phone buzzed. I took it out and looked at the notificación. Aphmau tagged you in a post. That is when my brain registered what just happened. I started having an PTSD attack. Nugget stood up and I hugged him. As I was sobbing in his fur. I felt arms wrap around me. Without thinking of who it was I yelled, "N-no! D-dad! G-g-get away!"

"Rine. Rine look at me." Max said while turning my head. "I'm not your father. He's not here. He can't hurt you anymore." I continued to cry into his chest. "Why would you think I was your father?"

"W-when I was around t-thirteen, he would do that t-type of stuff with m-me.  F-force me t-to make out with h-him."

"No one hear would do that to you. It was a dare. If you really didn't want to do it, no one would force you." Max said calmly.

"Why did you kiss him?" Adam asked.

"I-I wasn't thinking about it."  I didn't want them to know I like Max. They would freak out.

~Time Skip to After Dinner~

We decided to watch a movie because it was late at night and the party was settling down. We ended up watching "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". (Do you guys like this movie? Idk how old it is but it might make me sound old 😂) Right around the end I started to fall asleep. I put my head on Max's shoulder and fell asleep.

Max's POV

We ended up watching "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" one of my favorite movies. Right around the end Catherine suddenly put her head on my shoulder. I kissed the top of her head, and no one saw. Thank God. When the movie was over, we thanked Adam and went home to sleep. I carried Catherine to the car bridal style, while Ross handled Nugget. When we got home, I placed Catherine in my bed, and pulled the blanket over her. Damn she's cute.

So its 12:15 in the morning an I got Instagram notifications. My friend is back in the USA and has wifi! Now I can stop sending her Streaks on Snapchat. Thank God. She's lucky she's my best friend. So I have another note for myself, whats new? [Spolierish] They go to a convention and an animator in the Kindergarten meets Rine unexpectly.
