Dear Mother,
I love you so much and I want you to know that I will always keep in touch. But, I can't do this anymore. I feel as if my life is taking a turn for the worst, living with you. I'm leaving, and I'm taking Cadence with me. I can't tell you where I am going but trust that it's somewhere safe and sound. You see, I've always wanted to run away but I've never had the technology or brains to do it. I recommend that you don't look for me and that you just sign over the rights for Alex to be Cadence's legal guardian. That way, Cadence can go to school here. And I beg of you, please, please, do not contact the authorities about us. I would appreciate it if you would just let me go. I love Alex and I know that I want to be with him forever. We're not making any drastic decisions right now but I feel like it will happen in the future and I, personally don't mind that. Whenever you read this, just look up at the sky, and know that, deep in your heart, I am safe and where I need to be. I love you. We love you. Goodbye.
