Cheyenne

I wanted him to stay, but it's too risky. Telling the hospital I was staying with a friend was so unlike me.

I lay down next to Cadence and rest my head on his pillow. As I drifted off to sleep, my body was overcome with worry. I hope she's okay. I hope she's okay.

I hope she's okay. I thought. I realized that Alex left his coat here. Eh, he' ll have to get it later, I snorted at the thought.

And then, there was a knock.

Alex

I got all the way home and I realized I forgot my coat. Even though that was a perfectly good reason to go back, I didn't want to "rock the boat".

Needless to say, my parents were furious, like they actually cared where I was.

"Where were you?" My mom questioned.

"Don't worry about it." I replied.

"Uh, excuse me but it's my job to worry about it."

"Mom? Could you stay the fuck out of my business? Thanks."

At this point, nothing mattered. Except Cheyenne. Long story short, I was kicked out and I felt the need to see her, so I packed and went to Cheyenne's.

"Hi," she said, nervously.

"Hey." I retorted.

"Soo...what's up with the bags?" She said, concerned.

"I got kicked out and I needed to see you. Do you forgive me?"

"Look, I'm sorry for being such an asshole. I forgive you." She smiled.

"Lead the way." I smirked.

I was so grateful for her.
