Alex

I hate lying to Cheyenne, but I have to in order to make this plan work. That's why I have to tell her and I have to tell her now.

We walked out to the backyard and I couldn't help but be frozen. I didn't exactly know where I was going to begin. So I just started with this:

"Cheyenne? You know I love you right?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Yes, and I love you just as much." She smiled.

"So, whata ya say we...get outta here?" I smirked.

"What?" She said, in disbelief.

I stepped closer and swept her long braids out of her face.

"I wanna run away with you. We start a new life, somewhere else. Somewhere...different." I said, nervously.

"I would want nothing more than to go with you, but I could never do that to Cadence. He is my life and....so are you." She cried.

She tried to fight back tears but she failed tremendously. I watched her sob into the palm of her hands and I just couldn't take it anymore.

I needed an answer and I needed an answer now but it could not be "No". I wouldn't except it.

"We could bring him with us." I said, taking her hands from her face.

She looked at me with peculiarity.

"Well that would be nice I guess. But what about education?"

"I would have to become his legal guardian and he can go to school wherever we move." I said.

"Wait, no, no that's too much. And my mother! What will she think of all this?"

"Screw her." I shrugged.

"Don't you ever talk about my mother that way!" She yelled, pointing at me.

"Well, what the fuck do you expect me to say Cheyenne?"

"This is not going to work, so this is a no go. We can't just drop everything. We have school, what will our parents think? What are we going to do for money? Where are we going to stay?" She exclaimed.

"I have everything figured out. Just...trust me." I said, looking deep into her eyes.

She turned around and looked into the dark sky.

She sighed a sigh of relief as she turned back around.

"Okay, let's do it." She smirked.

"Really?"

"Yes." She nodded.

"Wooohooo!!!!" I rejoiced, picking her up and swinging her.
