Cheyenne

It was really adorable seeing Alex treat Cadence like he was his little brother.

He played little games with him and "lost" to him at every game they played.

When we got to the mall, we immediately got stares. Mostly because we had a little kid....I think. But I ignored them.

The first store we went into was Wet Seal.

"Hello." The clerk said.

"Hello" I said with a smile.
I found a lot of cute stuff to try on.

"Watch out for Cadence and stay here." I ordered, going into the dressing room.

"Okay, you're coming with me." Alex said, picking Cadence up by his sides.
Cadence was tickled pink.

I could hear so much laughter while I was trying on clothes and I had to admit, it was a major turn on how Alex took care of him.

I tried to get their opinions on certain shirts and outfits but they kept saying that it looked "good".

"Be honest," I said, frustratedly.

"I definitely am being honest." Alex smirked.

"Yeah! I'm being honest." Cadence blurted.

"See, Cadence agrees. You're beautiful, Shy." Alex smiled.

"Thank you." I said, trying to keep my cool.
When I got back into my dressing room, I was grinning from ear to ear.

All I bought from Wet Seal was a couple of shirts and one pair of distressed jeans.

Next was my favorite, HOT TOPIC. In order for us to be good guardians, me and Alex took turns standing outside with Cadence for obvious reasons.
I bought so much at Hot Topic. I bought a dubstep shirt, a Morrissey shirt, an Arctic Monkeys shirt, and a shit load of jewelry and nail polish.

Alex bought a lot too. He bought an Arctic Monkeys shirt (matching mine), an Asking Alexandria shirt, and a beanie.

He also bought us matching shirts that said "You Mad Bro?" And mine read "I Ain't Even Mad"

I was so excited. We went to a variety of other stores but the last for was Cadence entirely.

"This is for you, Cadence. I appreciate you coming with me and Lex." I said, kneeling down.

Cadence smiled.
For whatever reason, Alex said he'd be back in a second.

I watched as he disappeared into a crowd of people.

I wonder where he's going, I thought but I decided not to question it.

We had lunch around 4:00pm and it was the best lunch I had in ages. Alex was so perfect.

He was funny, smart, exciting, and intriguing.

We started to walk home at 5:30 and all of the sudden, he started to ask questions.

"Shy?"

"Yes?"

"What do you think about me?"

"What do I think of you?"

"Yeah."

"I think that you're funny and articulate."

"Hmm...okay."

I was desperate to carry on the conversation:

"What do you think of me?" I blurted out.

"I think that you're the coolest girl I've ever met." He said.

"Wow, thanks." I grinned.

When we got home, first thing I did was put Cadence to bed. And then, I got a text from Alex, telling me to meet him outside.
I snuck out of the front door while mom was asleep. (Yeah, my mom goes to sleep at like, 7:00pm)

I stepped outside and Alex was standing right in my driveway.
