ch.4: Other Dudes

Coby's pov:

I woke up to the sound of Annabeth snoring and Cory taking a picture of us sleeping together. "Hey!" I said pointing to his phone. Cory stuck his tongue out at me and posted the picture on snapchat titling it by saying: I'm so glad to have my baby sis back with us!. I rolled my eyes and looked at Annabeth still sleeping. I chuckled and heard Cory snap his fingers. I looked at him and he mouthed "on 3". I knew exactly where this was going. "1...2....3!" Cory screamed. "ANNABETH!" We both screamed. Annabeth sprung her eyes open and I and Cory started laughing. "You guys are idiots!" She screamed at us. Me and Cory ignored her and just kept laughing. She rolled her eyes and got up from my shoulder. Cory stopped laughing and payed his attention back onto the road. We were almost in Dallas and we couldn't wait. My phone vibrated and got a text from the rest of the dude perfect guys' texting each other from our group chat. Tyler: Hey Cobes, you Core and Beth almost here?. Cody: Yeah! We've been waiting for hours now! Garrett: Agreed! Me: Almost, have 30 more minutes till we hit Dallas! Tyler: Hallelujah! I turned my phone off and store out the window the rest of the car ride.

Cory's pov:

We didn't really have much to talk about. All we talked about was our old memories we had as kids. "And the rock almost hit his face!" Coby said embarrassing me. Coby was talking about the time when we were playing baseball with a stick (as the bat) and a rock (as the ball). Annabeth laughed at me as I shook my head, sometimes I loved Coby, but in this situation, it wasn't going to look pretty. I looked at the road and saw a big truck with only 1 wheel, headed our way. I tried to swerve the car to the right, but it was already too late. The truck slammed into the front of our car. Everything was a blur after that our car was on the side of the road and the big truck was laying down beside our car. I looked in the back and saw Coby and Annabeth knocked out (well at least I thought they were). Coby had blood running down the left side of his face and blood on his white sweatshirt. Annabeth had blood on the side of her face too. She also had blood on her left leg and her black crop top. I looked down at myself and saw I was bleeding from my stomach and my face. I started to feel super freaking dizzy and my vision started to blur. But eventually my whole body shut down, and I blacked out.
