The Little Sister

Ch.7: FREEDOM

Annabeth's pov:

Today was the day. Today was the day we were finally getting out of the hospital. Coby's ribs still hurt a little, but the doctors said that he will be fine. Cory's leg still hurts but only little, so the doctors told him use crutches just in case. I had nothing wrong with me, I only have stitches in my stomach and on the side of my face, but I was fine. I hopped out of my bed and walked down to Coby's room. I walked towards the room and leaned against the door frame, Coby must have heard noises from my footsteps because I'm always really loud. He looked up at me and smiled. "Hey" he said while lying in his bed. "Hey" I said while walking towards. I stood at Coby's bed as i put my hand on his and intertwined ours together. As I stood over him, I leaned in and kissed his right cheek. He smiled. "I better go check on lazy twin #2" I said with a smirk. Coby chuckled and let go of my hand.

I left Coby's room and walked further down the hallway to Cory's. I walked in and saw Cory on his phone. I chuckled and rolled my eyes. I stood over his bed, grabbed his phone and put it in my pocket. "Hey!" I was playing Endless Ducker!" Cory said trying to imitate a little boy's voice. "Well to bad!" I said imitating a mom's voice. Cory pretends to make a pouty face and then fake cry about it. I chuckled and rolled my eyes. Cory looked back at me and smiled; he took my hand and threw it over his shoulder. Cory patted his lap for me to sit on. I threw my right leg over his waist and picked myself up, and before I knew it, I was sitting on Cory's lap. He smiled and said "Isn't this better?" I rolled my eyes at him. I eyed Cory up and down leaned in to kiss his forehead. But instead, Cory pulled my down and we ended up kissing for like 5 seconds. I pulled away and looked at him shockingly. "Cory Cotton!" I whispered /yelled. Cory didn't say anything, all he did was laugh. I rolled my eyes at him in annoying ness. I wanted to slap him, so I did. Cory looked at me shockingly, " Hey at least I'm getting slapped from the girl who eyed me up and down" he said. "Dammit" I mumbled under my breath. " Well at least I'm not getting slapped by the guy who took pictures of me sleeping" I said while sticking my tongue out at him. That's when Cory flipped my whole body and he was on top of me. But as soon as I could break free, Cory smashed his lips against mine. My eyes widen, I didn't think he would do this, and why would he do it now? Cory cuffed his hand on my left cheek and his other around my waist. At this point I would've slapped Cory and ran out the room, but no. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. The kiss felt passionate and awesome. You guys are probably like, "What the hell!". "That's gross!" And yeah, I get it. How many times do you get to see a brother and sister kissing? Yeah it was weird but I mean it kinda felt awesome too. Cory pulled away and looked me in the eyes and smiled. And could the day get any weirder.

Coby's pov:

It was time to leave and everyone was excited. We thanked all of our doctors and headed down stairs and towards the double doors. We excited the building and we all shouted "FREEDOM!" We laughed after that. "We are free from the Dungeon that is called a hospital!" Beth screamed. We continued to laugh after that and just continued to laugh some more.

When we got into the car, I sat in the driver's seat, while Cory and Beth cuddled in the back. I turned my phone on and pulled up directions for the DPHQ. I started the car with my key and drove us off leaving the hospital behind us.
