Ch.20: A Special Night

Ryan's P.O.V

Today was the day. Today I was going to take Beth on a date. Yeah I can't drive, and I sure don't want my parents driving me. So my sister is going to drive. She gave me some tips on how to talk to her, treat her, and be gentlemen. I was going to wear a black tux, with polished shoes, and i have flowers for her. I was going to take her to a nice restaurant, then to the beach after. It was only 12:00 am and I and Beth were at school eating lunch. Beth had pizza and I had a burger. She was talking about the first day of school, when she was nervous and how I was the first friend she ever made. I smiled at that, her first friend was her future boyfriend that has liked her since the first day of school. And now I was taking her on a romantic date. "Got any plans for tonight?" Her best friend Amy asked her. Beth looked at me was grinned. "Yes we do. Ryan is taking me on a date tonight" She smiled as Amy made an "AW" face. I chuckled as the bell went off and everyone left the cafeteria, going to their 5th hour.

When the day was over me and Beth walked home and agreed that I pick her up at 7:00. We parted ways and I ran into my house and told my family " 7:00" they all nodded as me and my sister ran up to my room and helped me get dressed, she polished my shoes as I struggled to get my tie tied,. I sprayed my hair with some hair spray and my sister set some flowers on my bed to give to Beth. I was excited. And maybe a little too excited

Beth's P.O.V

I ran into my house and told my siblings "7:00". They nodded as Catharine ran me up to my room to get me ready. Catharine curled my hair as I tried to put on this

After that, we both came down as the twins whistled at me. I blushed as I shushed them, and then Ryan came to the door. I walked towards the twins and kissed them both on the cheek, and walked to the door. "Hello beautiful. Would you like to have this date? "He asked me. Ryan was wearing a black tux, with polished shoes, and he had red roses for me. I smiled as I said "Yes please". He smiled as we approached a 1967 Chevy Impala. "Classic" I said. He smiled as he opened the door for me and he rode in the back. A girl with blonde hair and brown streaks, green eyes, and pale skin. "Hello. I'm Lizzy" She said. I smiled as she drove us to a restaurant a few blocks down from our houses.

After dinner, she took us to a beach, where she dropped us off and we were all alone. "Beth Cotton. You look so beautiful; I would fangirl over more than any celebrity. I've had a crush on you since we've first met. And wanted to know if you would be my girlfriend?" He said. My mouth dropped as I covered it with my two hands, tears were falling down my face as I nodded, and he smiled as he pulled a beautiful diamond necklace out and put it around my neck. He looked into my eyes as his smile lit my face up. He teased his lips together and leaned into mine. His lips crashed with mine as they moved in sync with each other. His hands were moving down to my waist and my hands were around his neck. He pulled away as he took his shoes off and ran across the sand, leaving me with a smile. I took my shoes off and ran after my beautiful boyfriend. I love him, and I will never replace him, ever.

When we got back he gave me a kiss on my forehead and said "Good night beautiful". I smiled and walked into my house with a smile across my face. When I walked in, my older siblings had a "tell me everything that happened" smile on their faces. So I did. Catharine fangirled and the twins "Awed". "He's so sweet. I like that kid" Cory said. Catharine and Coby nodded as Cory gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Let's watch a movie. Go get some pjs on. We're watching cars. Your fav" Cory said. I jumped all around and ran up to my room to change, but the whole time, I was thinking about my boyfriend Ryan. The guy I love.
