Ch.11: School

Beth's pov:

Today was my first day at school. My brothers made me because they said that they wanted me to have a normal life and to be honest, nobody's life is normal. "Beth, come on I don't want you to be late! " Cory screamed. I groaned and rolled out of bed as I walked down stairs. I walked down stairs and saw Cory making me breakfast, Coby doing the laundry, and I was just getting up. "Finally you're up!" Coby said. "We don't want you to be late for your first day of school!" Cory said with excitement. I groaned loudly and said "I don't want to go! ". "Sorry sis, have to" Cory said. I walked towards Cory and grabbed a bag of pop tarts. I walked towards Coby as he handed me some jeans and a shirt. I

Ran upstairs and changed into my school clothes. I ran back down stairs and Coby was holding backpack. "Have a good day" he said with a smile. Cory nodded and held his arms out for a hug. I leaped into Cory's embrace as he wrapped his big strong arms around my waist. "Love you" he whispered in my ear. "love you too bro" I whispered back. He smiled and pecked me on the cheek as I moved on to Coby. Coby flashed a quick smile at me and wrapped his arms around my waist like Cory did before. "I'll miss you" he whispered in my ear. After Coby said that he pecked my forehead as I ran out door and waved goodbye to the twins.

As I entered the school I saw a teacher. "Hey, you must be Annabeth Cotton" she said with a smile. She had dark glasses to cover up her eyes, pale skin, and blue eyes. "That's me" I said trying to force myself to smile. "This is yours" she said handing me a paper. "This your schedule for all you classes and where they are" she said pointing to the classes and the teacher's names. I nodded and walked off to find my First Class. PE was my First Class, it was being run by Mr. Walls, oh boy, a couch that's a guy. I hated that. I walked into the gym and set my stuff beside my seat. I looked to my right and saw a blonde boy that had brown eyes, pale skin, and dark rings around his eyes. "Hey, I'm Ryan" he said with a smile. He held out his hand as I shook it. "I'm Annabeth, but I go by Beth" I said with a crooked smile. He smiled again started telling me things about the school. "Hey what classes do you have?" I asked him. He pulled his schedule from his binder as we compared our schedules together. "Wow. We have 5 classes together" he said with Shock. "Wow. We really do" I said shocked as he was. He chucked as the PE Teacher walked in and said. "Alright. You can go into your locker rooms and get dressed! "He yelled. I waved to Ryan and grabbed my bag of clothes and headed for the locker room.

The bell rang and everyone ran to their 2nd hour. I looked at my schedule and saw that I had science next, the one class that I didn't have with Ryan. I walked into the room and saw many boys and girls chatting with their friends. I felt lonely and scared that I wasn't going to make it through this year, but suddenly thought of Ryan. I smiled and headed for the desk in the far corner. The room was painted with a tan color, with posters of science stuff on the wall. I set my stuff under my desk and the bell rang as the teacher walked in. "Alright Class! Today we are going to get into groups and work on states of matter paper. The class screamed and they started talking about who was going to be in what group. I was the only quiet one. I wanted to be a good student not a bad one that fails this year. "Alright find your group and I'll pass papers out." the teacher said as she held the papers in her hands. Everyone moved except for me. I just sat in my seat. The teacher gave a paper to me as she asked "Are you going to work by yourself?" I nodded and started working on the paper.

The bell rang and everyone ran out their classes onto their third hour. I felt someone tap in my shoulder as I turned around. I turned and saw Ryan standing there with a smile on his face. "Hey" I said with a smile. "Hey stranger" he said smiling back at me. We both walked to our third hour and sat beside each other talking about our lives.

It was fourth hour and I and Ryan had Math next. Like last hour we walked in and sat beside each other talking. "Be right back. I need to go talk to the teacher about something" he said and he got as he walked towards the teacher. I saw a brunette haired girl walk towards me and said "I see you with my boyfriend. Get away from him" she said with a serious face. "I'm sorry but we're only friends" I said with a scared face. "I don't care. Just get away from him" she said and walked out of the class. Ryan walked back towards our seats and sat down next to me. I was thinking about that girl, I should tell Ryan. But not now. No not now.

It was last hour and I and Ryan had History. We walked in and sat in the very far corner. I looked towards the door and saw the same brunette haired girl walk into the classroom. She walked towards Ryan and kissed him on the lips, glaring at me. Ryan immediately pushed her off. "Chloe stop! We're not together anymore!" He shouted out at her. The teacher glared at Chloe telling her to "leave him alone and go sit down". Chloe marched towards her seat leaving me with a glare.

The day was over and I and Ryan headed home. I was lucky Ryan lived across the street from me so we weren't that far from each other. "See you tomorrow" he said with a wave. I smiled and waved back as I entered the house. I shut the door behind me and I saw Coby and Cory looking at me like " who's you boyfriend? Mh? ". " He's a friend. And only a friend" I said staring at them with wide eyes. They both made an "Aww" face as they hung their heads down. I jumped on the couch with the twins and told them about my day, and even telling them about Chloe. "Just ignore her sis. If she does something to you then me Coby and Ryan will handle her" Cory said while rubbing my back to calm me down. "Go take a hot shower then we'll meet you up in your room so we can watch a movie. I grabbed some pjs from the laundry basket and headed to the bathroom. I entered the bathroom and locked the door behind me. I quickly stripped my clothes off and hopped in the shower. The shower felt really good, water dripping down every inch of my naked body as I washed it and my hair.

I got out the shower and threw my clothes on as I exited the bathroom. I ran up to my room and saw the twins watching "The Avengers" with a popcorn bowl their laps. I hopped on my bed and squished myself between them. I set the popcorn bowl on my lap and watched the movie until I closed my eyes and fell asleep between my two older brothers trying to comfort me.
