Annabeth's pov:

I woke up in a plain white room, with a woman who was standing next to me in a white coat with a name tag that said Mary on it. I realized that I was in a hospital with my twin brothers. But why, why was I in a hospital. I needed to remember. "Your awake" she said in a soft gentle voice. She was pretty, her long brown hair covering the back of her neck, and her blue ocean eyes, with her pale white skin." Why am I here?!" I asked in a raspy voice." Now. Now. You're here from a car accident" she said with a clipboard in her hands. Suddenly it all came back to me.

Flashback:

" CORY!" I screamed at him. He looked back at the road and saw a big Walmart truck headed our direction. Cory tried to swerve the car to the right, but i knew it was already to late. The truck slammed into the front of our car causing it to slide across the road and into a ditch, along with the big truck laying on the free-way on its side.

End of flashback:

"Ms. Cotton?" Mary asked, causing me to snap from my dream. "Are you alright?" She asked me. "Yea. Everything's fine" I said. "Where are my brothers?" I asked looking into her deep blue eyes. "They are in different rooms. But they are not waking up" she said in a worried voice. "I. Need. To. See. Them." I said with glossy eyes. Mary nodded and helped me get up from my bed. I walked down the hallway and found Coby lying down in his bed with his eyes closed and his body laying straight. My eyes filled with more tears as I store at my older brother, just lying there, doing nothing but laying in silence. I walked further and saw Cory sitting up in his bed. I smiled and rushed towards him. "Cory!" I said with tears In my eyes. He smiled. "Hey. What happened? He asked with a confused face. "Me, you and Coby were hit by a truck and found in a ditch off of the free-way. Cory eyes started to be filled with sadness. "Is Cobes ok?" He asked with a worried expression. "He's not waking up" I said with glossy eyes. Tears escaped his eyes and fell down his face. "Let's go check on him" I said. Cory nodded and walked towards Coby's room. He was lying down with his eyes remaining closed. I walked towards him and set my hand on top of his. I store deep into his eyes as mine filled with sadness and anger. I was mad that we were so close to Dallas. We were so close to freedom, and we didn't make it. Our parents were so happy before the accident happened. But after that, they were depressed; they were always fighting with the twins, and me? I just stayed in my room, crying myself to sleep all night long. But I never thought I would end up in a hospital again. Especially, not one with my two twin brothers in it with me.

Cory's pov:

I sat in my room with a nurse and a doctor. I had so many questions to ask. Like, where are my brother and sister? Why am I laying in a hospital bed? And why did my whole body hurt? The doctor told me everything. What happened to me and my brother and sister? Where Annabeth and Coby was. And who stopped their car to help us. The nurse said that I suffered from a cracked rib, and a concussion. I have to admit. It hurts like hell. I didn't know if Coby or Annabeth was alive, until I saw a 5'5 girl walk into my room, with red hair and brown eyes, I thought she was the most beautiful thing on earth. But then realized that she was my sister, her name was Annabeth, she's 25 years old and lives with me and Coby. She smiled and rushed towards me. "Cory!" She said with a smile. She gently wrapped her arms around my neck while mine were around her waist. "How's Coby?" I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind. "He's not waking up" she said with a sad expression. My face turned from happy, to sad. I hope Coby was even alive. "Let's go check on him" she said forcing herself to smile. I nodded and headed down the hallway with my little sis.

We walked into Coby's room and saw him lying on his bed with his eyes closed and him lying completely straight. My face filled with sadness. I hope Coby was ok. I hope he's not dead, and i really hope he won't leave us.

Coby's pov:

I laid there in silence, my eyes closed and laying stiff like a board. In my head I was seeing Cory and Annabeth just standing there with sadness and anger in their eyes. My eyes started to get glossy, I missed them, but I wasn't waking up. I wondered why. So I laid there and listened. "He's stuck in a coma right now" the doctor said. "He's also suffering from a broken rib and has a big scare on the side of his face" he said while pointing to the scare that layed on the left side of my face. Tears ran down both Cory and Beth's faces as the doctor finished his sentence. "He's going to be ok" he said. "And he will wake up" the nurse added. "Maybe" Annabeth mumbled to her self

Annabeth's pov:

It had two full hours and Coby still hasn't woken up. I and Cory kept telling the doctors to wait until something happens. And ever since then, we've just been waiting in his room, staring into his closed eyes." How much longer do you think the doctors are going to kept him?" I asked Cory as he store at his older brother. "I don't have the faintest idea" he said. I shrugged and kept my eyes on Coby. I wonder what was going on inside his head. Maybe something that could help us. I wanted my brother back. Well Coby, at least.
