A million pieces of me

One piece of you.

I was a beautiful bird,

I was a piece of paper,

I was a fragile vase.

And you broke my wings,

You tore me,

You shattered me.

You were a pool,

You were a forest,

You were a fire.

And I swam in you,

I got lost in you,

I got burned by you.

And now I am here,

A million pieces.

And you,

You manipulated the ground,

To be soft,

Welcoming.

You are one piece.

I am one million.

Hell is a long way down.

You can't manipulate the ground,

The ground that will take you there.

I will wave as you fall,

As I become free again.

And every wing you break,

Every piece of paper you tear,

Every vase you shatter.

And every swimmer you drown,

Every lost wanderer,

Every fire that burns.

Will all come back to haunt you.

And then,

I will be a million pieces.

You will be a million and one.

You will be a million and one
