You're a slow poison eating at my soul, every emotion I feel, is out of my control.

The numb pain still beckons, as I lose my grasp, I feel it move slowly, I need it to pass.

My life is so empty no emotions to reveal, just scars best kept hidden, that I want to conceal.

You moved in so slowly, biding your time as you moved in, I didn't stop you, I didn't know where you'd begin.

You seeped into my bloodstream, holding nothing back, you changed my insides, from white to black.

You targeted each organ, slowly one by one, using them as you wanted, my battle's just begun.

First you picked off my kidney's, wanting them to die off first, knowing everything else would follow, this was now my curse.

Next, you turned my lungs off, knowing how well I couldn't breathe, smothering me always, suffocating me.

Then you picked my eyes out, not wanting me to see, that I had so much going for myself, you wouldn't let me be.

After, you tore my heart out, killing me instantly, knowing I was already dead, but you laughed gleefully.

You didn't stop there though, after I was dead, you found it necessary, to pick off the rest.

You tore me limb from limb, I was already gone, you wanted to be more cruel, you were not yet done.

You tore me into pieces, with nothing left of me, I couldn't go anywhere, you wouldn't set me free.

And now, as I sit to write this, I want this story to end, it has no place in my future, there's nothing left to mend.

You seeped in like a poison, yes that much is true, now I need a cure, to have me rid of you.

Your presence, your aura, I want it all gone, you and I have no words left to say, what we've said, is all done.

This pain, this burden, this cross too much to bear, I only need God's help, I don't need you to care.

When your blackness leaves my system, and all your demons follow too, then my soul will rest, to be finally free from you.

Right now, my soul is shattered, but I will piece it back, and when I finally do, there's no turning back.

I will not think of you again, or treat you as a friend, I will merely rejoice, that this chapter is at its end.

Your venom will no longer hurt me, as it tries to reach my veins, I realize now that it's over, your hold no longer pains.

If you see me in the future, just pass by merrily, don't try to converse me, because it's over, and now I'm free.

If you see me in the future, just pass by merrily, don't try to converse me, because it's over, and now I'm free
