In the following week,Kyungsoo comes in sometimes to give her and the puppies food when Baekhyun can't come in. Taeyeon and Kyungsoo got closer than the first time they met as they started to chat a lot when she is bored.
It's Saturday morning and Baekhyun is free the whole day. He usually goes out with his friends, but he decided to stay in his room today. Taeyeon was very happy to see him in the room even if they are doing their own thing.
Baekhyun took a nap on his armchair while Taeyeon sat on the bed, looking up from the puppies and staring at him.
He looks so peaceful.

She thought to herself as she stared at him.
How can a man look like a masterpiece while sleeping? God is so unfair sometimes...
She exhaled.
"I'm trying to sleep. Stop talking to yourself."he said, opening his eyes and frowning at her. She widened her eyes at him. She didn't even speak a word. "Wait-"he paused and mirrored her expression. "How..."he trailed off as his eyebrows creased in confusion.
What?
"How are we mind-linking? It is impossible unless you are a... Guardian."he mumbled as he stared wide-eyed at her.
Taeyeon gasped softly.
Let me try this again. Can you hear me?
She stared intently at him as she spoke in her mind.
Yes.
His inner voice sounds a bit different from his voice. It sounds deeper and sexier to her. Hopefully he didn't hear what she just thought about him.
Oh wait, he did...
"How are we doing this?"she asked, finally opening her mouth to speak. "I was just thinking that. How can you hear me?"
"It's a special bond between guardians."he said, failing to notice that blush that crept up her cheeks when she heard their special bond. "When two guardians are very close, they will open up to each other more, so they can mind-link each other, which allows them to send out telepathic voices to each other whenever they want."he explained. "You are a Guardian?"
"I'm a water Guardian."she admitted.
"So all this time when I said all those insulting things about you, you didn't even try to defend yourself. You could have just said that you are a Guardian and is on our side."He said, looking away from her. He started to feel even more guilty for thinking badly about her. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"he asked.
"I don't deserve to call myself a water guardian. I haven't master a lot of skills, I just have the talent in my blood."she said. "And you hated my kind of people so much, I didn't think that you can accept this."she added, fiddling with her fingers anxiously.
"I guess it is my fault for being so ignorant from the start then."he sighed. "You don't deserve this treatment. I am really really sorry."he apologised. He has been apologising a lot lately especially to her.
"I forgive you."she smiled at him. "Can you teach me though? I really want to improve my skills and help you guys to fight the enemies."she said, standing up from the bed.
