It's late at night.
All of the guardians have to gather in the main house to prepare for the invasion. Before they leave, Baekhyun went back to his room to inform her that he is leaving and might probably come back around dawn. Since Tao is with them, Taeyeon couldn't leave the room, so their goodbyes were made in his room.
"Don't worry. Before you know it, I am going to be back tomorrow. I promise."he said, concerned about how worried she looks. It's always like that. Every time he has a mission, Taeyeon will ask him a lot of questions, worried that he will get hurt out there.
"Stay safe."
She has no idea how many times she has said that every time he goes out for a mission. Even when he told her to sleep first, she can't fall asleep because she's thinking about the possibilities of him not coming home because he was captured or killed.
"I will. I promise."he said. She nodded and finally let go of his arm, letting him leave their room and go for the mission. He was about to open the door, but his hand stopped at the door knob. He turned back and quickly peck her on the forehead before spinning around on his feet to leave the room.
It all happened so fast.
She smiled as her fingers reached up to her forehead and grazed over the warmth his lips left on her forehead. A small smile made it's way onto her face as she turned back to look down at the puppies that have been sitting there obediently.
"He will be back later."she told them. "He will be safe."she squatted down and tried to convince the puppies that is growling lowly as if they are worried about their owner.
But it felt like she was trying to convince herself more than the pups.

"Everyone here?"Heechul asked as he looked around. The gathering room was once filled with more than 100 people, but as guardians are getting captured through every mission, their numbers decreased. It made the leader of the Movement said because now, standing before him are 20 guardians. Only 20 of them are left. "Okay everyone stand in line. I am going to tell you all about the plan now."he said, unrolling the map in the middle of the table.
"Tao! I'm surprise to see you!"Luhan exclaimed when he saw Tao and gave him a hug. The other people was so surprised to see him that they all asked him how he is and how did he got out. Heechul cleared his throat to get all of their attention, causing them to back away from Tao as Heechul walked towards Tao.
"Tao. I thought you were captured."Heechul said.
"I escaped."Tao said.
"Anyone who is curious about Tao's story, will have to wait, cause we have a very important mission tonight. If you want to hear his story, you all better come back alive."Heechul said, his eyes never leaving Tao as Tao looked down, not daring to meet his eyes.
"Yes sir!"the guardians said simultaneously.
"Sir, so is Tao going to join back our team?"Kris asked, since Tao is originally in their team.
"Yes. We need all of the guardians we have for this mission."Heechul replied. "Joohyun, have you briefed your team about what to do?"Heechul turned to her.
"Yes sir. They all understood."Joohyun replied, nodding her head at him.
"Okay everyone get to your battle stations."Heechul said as his finger grazed gently across the map and stopped at the middle of the mansion. "Remember to look after your backs before looking at others. They have increased their security."he said. "Our main goal is to take out as many soldiers as we can. To make sure that they have enough for the actual war."he continued. "The girls team will go in from the left. M team from the right. And K team from the back. The soldiers bunkers is here, in case they were prepared for us to come."he explained as everyone nodded, understanding the plan.
