Taeyeon was practicing her water-bending skills with Suho outside the safe house, while Baekhyun sat at the chair he placed beside the house to spectate how the training is going. He could see that Taeyeon is a fast learner, she already looks like a pro and knows how to control her superpowers unlike most water guardians who only rely on their talent and not their skills.
Baekhyun was really impressed by how much she has learned over this month. She is so concentrated in controlling a wave of water through the trees, that she didn't notice him staring at her with eyes filled with admiration.
"Let's train you in a new method today. You have to defend yourself against me. Got it?"Suho asked, causing Baekhyun to frown instantly and leave his seat to walk towards them.
"What if she gets hurt?"Baekhyun didn't like the idea of Taeyeon learning defense mode yet.
"Baekhyun, stop babying her. Besides, her skills are already very good. And if she doesn't learn this sooner, how is she going to fight in the war?"Suho asked him as he shook his head slightly.
"She's not going to join the war."Baekhyun said and glanced at Taeyeon who looked guilty.
"I was the one who told Suho that I am joining the war."Taeyeon muttered as she lowered her head.
"What? You are not joining the war. We talked about this."Baekhyun said, pushing his hair back in frustration. Suho slowly backed away, realising that this is a talk he shouldn't be a part of.
"Erm, I will let you guys talk it out first."Suho said over his shoulder as he ran back into the house. Taeyeon and Baekhyun had a stare down before Taeyeon started to whine.
"I have to help. Suho told me that because of that mission last month, a lot of guardians were captured. So there are not enough guardians to join the war. As future queen, I have to help them."she whined.
"No! Your life is the most important thing right now. If you die, who will sit on the throne?"
"I am the Princess of EXO Planet. I can make decisions for myself."she said determinedly. "I don't need you to decide everything for me. It's time for me to speak for myself. If not, how am I going to make decisions when I am sitting on the throne? Now it's a good time to train me."she said, standing her ground.

Baekhyun sighed and kept his mouth shut. After hearing what she said to him, he realised that Taeyeon no longer needs him. No longer relies on him. Which is a good thing, she knows how to make her own decisions and doesn't ask for his permission anymore. His lips finally broke into a smile and he nods.
"Fine. I'm sorry for trying to stop you. You are the future Queen, who am I to stop you from doing what you want."he said, nodding in understanding. He's just a mere guardian, nothing compare to her. Plus, she can already protect herself. "I will go in and call Suho out to continue the training."he said as he spun around on his feet to leave.
