"Sweetie, wake up! We are late again," Sarah said, looking at the electronic clock.

"No way. Today is the important day," Peter opened his eyes according to his wife's scream.

"Fortunately, we do have an hour. Still, I'm not sure if I can get ready," lady jumped out of the bed, searching desperately her night gown.

"Relax, baby. You always look amazing, whatever the event is. Even if had only five minutes to get ready," Peter laughs.

Sarah put her black silk night gown on and hair up to the ponytail.

-"Oh.. Shut up! It's not funny at all!".

Peter burst into a laugh again and sat on the edge of their bed. Stretched himself for a sec and looked out of the window.

"Could you please wake Leslie up? I'll go and control Jim..." Sarah shouted. She walked through the corridor and opened Jim's door.

Peter walked to Leslie's crib and kissed him on the forehead. The baby reacted to it and opened his eyes. He kept staring at his Dad with his sleepy little face.
Couple minutes later, Sarah had already helped Jim into his wheelchair where he was sitting, pajamas on.

"Jim! Good morning, sweetie!" Peter waved at him.

"Could you please now just give them something to eat. I'm really in a rush. There are so many things to do," Sarah said.
What another choice the man have than doing whatever she asked for. At the end, there was a chance they'd make to the event in time.

"Why do you seem so worried, anyway? Let's just call them and say we will be a couple of minutes late,".

"Are you crazy, Peter? On the first day?" Sarah disagreed.

Just like the lady asked, Peter took the children' breakfast from the refrigerator. Yogurt, mashed potatoes and a warm milk for the youngest one.

"Are they full?".

"Almost, my queen!".

"Fine. Thanks. I'll get the children better close. Cause you... hm," Sarah smiled.

"What?! what's the matter of my sense of style?" Peter was looking deeply into his wife's eyes.
Sarah didn't want to answer.

Realizing they sure will be late, Sarah asked Peter to call the people and apologizing for being late. They just didn't have a choice and Sarah wanted that day to be perfect. It was too important to them to screw it all up.

"Great people. I'm glad they understood you," Sarah sighed happily.

Peter helped the children dressed up what Sarah had chosen for them. She wore herself a brand new black dress, which she recently bought. And black high heels.
When ready, they left the house and started moving to the location. It was only just around the corner so they didn't need a car.

"So, Jim..." Peter turned boy's wheelchair towards him. "Do you remember what we talked at home?".

Jim nodded.

"You are going in but we need to stay here with Daddy and your little brother, okay? Everything is going to be okay," Sarah added.
The whole family hugged him and turned the chair towards the big building.

To be more specific - a schoolhouse. Where Jim was about going in and start his first day at school.
