On Saturday morning, I drove to pick Mike up feeling a little nervous for whatever reason but thrilled as well to be spending this much time with him. Even if he was going to surprise his boyfriend, it didn't matter; I just loved being in his presence. When I pulled up outside his house, he came running up to my car, smiling.

"Hi tony, thanks so much again for doing this," he said, opening the door and getting in.

"That's okay," I spoke softly, holding back a grin as we set off.

"Why're you smiling?" He asked, looking inquisitive and tilting his head to an angle.

"I-I'm just happy," I mumbled, breaking into a big smile and blushing in embarrassment. I didn't want to tell him it was really because I thought he was adorable and I loved spending time with him.

For the rest of the five hour long drive, we just talked, and listened to music. I asked Mike probably what was too many questions. I couldn't help it, I just found him so fascinating I wanted to know everything about him and just listen to his sort of deep calming voice.

Honestly I felt happier than I had done in so long and it felt really good.

Eventually we pulled up outside Kellin's building. The plan was for Mike to go inside and surprise Kellin and then I'd drive them to the city for their date and go find something else to do until they were finished.

Mike turned and beamed to me excitedly, before getting out and running up to the building. I watched him disappear through the lobby door and waited patiently, knowing it wouldn't take too long as Kellin only lived on the first floor.

I stared ahead at the building tapping my steering wheel in time to the radio playing quietly in the background. Suddenly, a window of the first floor apartment opened and someone hurriedly climbed out. I squinted to make out the figure and deduced he was lanky with longish ginger hair. He was also shirtless and paused for a moment outside the window. I frowned in confusion watching as he spoke into the open window, although I was too far away to hear what he said. Just then a boy with black swishy hair appeared at the window and thrust his shirt at him before slamming the window shut. That boy looked a lot like Kellin from the photo Mike had shown me. I was confused by the entire situation. Was a Kellin cheating on Mike with some other guy?
