After about another five minutes, mike and Kellin returned to the car holding hands and talking happily. As they got in the car, I whispered to mike whilst Kellin was preoccupied doing his seatbelt up.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" I whispered.

"Sure what's up?" mike asked, stepping out of the car as I followed him in doing so.

"Um, I don't mean to be rude but I think Kellin may be cheating on you. Some shirtless guy climbed out of his window whilst you were at his door," I told him, wary of how he would react, but confident telling him was the right thing.

"What an earth are you talking about? Kellin would never do that," he frowned looking clearly offended.

"I just don't want you to get hurt," I mumbled.

"Then don't lie to me about my boyfriend, God what is wrong with you? Come on Kellin we can hang out at yours tonight," he spoke sounding angry, his once soft brown eyes hardening as he took Kellin's hand again and headed back towards his building.

"Mike wait-" I stammered feeling my heart sink.

"Just go home Tony!" He yelled as he walked away.

Tears began to well in my eyes as I got back in the car, defeated. I drove home in silence trying not to cry and missing mike. I looked over to the passenger seat and noticed mike had left his hoodie. I finally arrived home and parked the car in my darkened driveway.

Gently I picked up mike's soft hoodie and cuddled it into my chest as tears flowed freely down my face. I buried my nose in the soft material breathing in deeply because it smelt just like him. I hoped I would get a chance to make things right between us.
