Kirk's POV

I felt like Bones was dragging me out of the space shuttle. I can't believe I'm in this enormous starship. Well, snuck on it. I really wished I didn't cheat on that stupid test. My head is going crazy and I'm sweating like hell. "Bones, I feel like I'm leaking," Bones dragged me faster when he saw Spock walking towards us, "Well, that bastard is coming," he turned left and he quickly took me to medical bay. "Thank God he didn't notice," Bones said, relieved.

"Where are we?"

"We're in Med-bay," Bones made me sit on the bed, which were used for sick people. Then he took a shringe and injected me on the neck. Again. I grunted, "How long is this...," I fell on the bed and my eyes are so heavy like they're about to close shut.

"At last, some peace," Bones praised, then my eyes closed shut.

Alex's POV

I boarded the starship and quickly changed my uniform from grey, to goldish yellow. The uniform was so short and it covered on a part of my thigh. I saw every woman wore like this on duty. I wore boots with really high heels, it felt so uncomfortable but I'll get used to it sometime later. I smiled to myself 'Okay, Alex. You can do this. Just don't mess up.' I thought to myself. I took two deep breaths and went to the bridge of the Enterprise.

"Permission to come to the bridge, captain," I smiled at my father, who was the captain of the Enterprise, while Spock was first officer. He took over Jim's place as first officer, because of the test. If he wouldn't cheat on that test, we would be working together.

"Permission granted, Commander," my dad answered, "Commander, I want you to go to medical bay and check is everyone there,"

But I just came here. I sighed, "Yes, captain," I walked out again. I'm so pissed right now. I saw Spock walking to the bridge. I ignored him as he was not there at all. I ran to med bay and saw Dr. McCoy was keeping a patient quarantined. "Hello, doctor, is everyone here?"

"Everyone's here alright," he looked really busy with some patients. But I feel like he's hiding something. He was just standing in front on the quarantined bed. "Is someone in the bed, Doctor?"

"Um, there's a sick cadet here who got really sick that I need to bring him to work too," he sighed. "And... Who's the cadet? What's his or her name?" I saw Bones sweating like hell. "Leonard, tell me who is it?"

"It's Kirk," he looked pale.

"What?" I was trying to swallow the big lump in my throat. "Is he sick?"

"He's sick. He started throwing up right after the assembly,"

I just looked at McCoy and I opened the shade. Well, he was not lying. I saw Kirk looking as pale as a ghost. He looked so weak. I felt so sorry for him. "Is he gonna be okay?" I asked Leonard.

"He's gonna be fine, don't worry about it, Alex. He's in good hands."

I sighed. "Okay, I guess my work is done here," I smiled, "Well, I'll see you two later," I went back to the bridge and quickly sat on my place. I just noticed that we're already in warp.

"Alex," Captain Pike called in a fatherly way, "Is the med bay okay?"

"Er, It's just fine. Everyone's already on board." I decided not to tell about Jim. Urgh, I can't believe I'm covering him again. I still don't understand why do I want to protect him. Toughts were runnning through my head. I decided to forget about it, and focus on my work.
