I watched silently behind the door in my mother's floral shop as she tried to convince a guy of buying a beautiful bunch of white roses for his fiance. I've always been with my mother at her most favorite place, she loved flowers and enjoyed taking care of the delicate plants.

I don't know my father since he abandoned my mother while she was pregnant with me. She hardly speaks of that man and kept quiet most times I asked of him. Mother struggled with me throughout most of her life, being a single mom. I always did my best to help her, the floral shop was where I spent most of my days after school.

I don't talk much and loved solitude, most people told me I was anti social but I couldn't care less. I find books more interesting than people, at least they don't put up a fake smile and laugh with you when they actually hate from inside. This world is corrupt and sinful, it was all about money, power and control.

I loath humans.. though that's quite funny since I'm human. Females are easily swayed by guys, it disgust me to watch light headed girls get played. Very pathetic, I can't bare to watch.

Most of the guys at school avoids me for the better of their safety, a guy asked me out once and I told him if he EVER ask me out again, I'll make sure ends up in the emergency room. My eyes were dead serious too, like what the heck was wrong with these spineless players? I'm not a piano so I don't get played.

My mother managed to convince him, they both were happy. I walked from the counter area and pushed my ear phones in my ears.

"Mom, I'm going out for a while."

I popped my chewing gum pulling my hair in a ponytail. I pushed the glass door open stepping outside into the bright sunlight, there were a bunch of girls from my school on the other side of the street, they saw me and hasten their footsteps. They were headed to a karaoke it seems, like hell I'd go to a place like that.

Someone held my wrist causing me to turn around, it was a guy, he was from the same school I attended but I've never seen him before.

"What?"  I asked bluntly glaring at him.

Don't touch me if you don't know me.

"Wow scary, sorry if I pissed you off."

He said glancing at me.

This guy looked like he played basketball, he was tall. I felt little and it irritated me, I wanted to leave already.

"Why are you following me?"  I asked glancing up at him. He smiled scratching the back of his head.

What the hell?

"I wasn't following you, since we both attend the same school, I just thought you'd like to go to the karaoke."
