I'm really freaking out right now, like literally. I stepped back, touching my arm. I'm nervous. Chase asked me out to a very important dinner and I accepted, though I'm not really the formal go - out dinner type. It wouldn't be nice to turn down the invite, still I'm nervous about going.
He brought me a to a very expensive clothing store and there, I picked out my gown. It was beautiful and quiet pricy, lavender lace blended gown, with a seductively graceful cut at the side. The diamonds that swept across my cleavage were breathtaking, I've never worn real diamonds or a dress this expensive.
My lips were lightly coated with a vanilla scented lip gloss, they had a glittery finish and a fairly warm colour. Mother neatly plaited my hair and wrapped it into a bun. I look so girly and mushy. I didn't wear makeup since I hated that, only my cheeks had a light blush.
My heart was still racing, I wonder what kind of people will be at the dinner, crowded places isn't my style but if Chase is there with me, then that's ok. I wish he hadn't spent so much money but he told me it was alright.
A simple, anti social, flat booby girl like me doesn't know a thing about having a boyfriend. Chase was a spontaneous, cool and good looking guy, he was sexy. I don't think I'm good enough, a book worm and physics geek.
Not only that, I'm in love with him. I won't be able to relax in his presence. I won't! I won't!
Now I'm seeing his face in my mind. I covered mine feeling my cheeks bubbling up with affection. A sudden knock made me jump and turn from the mirror.
"Chisa dear, Chase is here."
Mom said.
I gasp nearly tripping but touched the edge of the dresser. My heart was going crazy, he's here. Oh my God he's here.
"I - I'm not ready!"
I said.
"But you have a flight right now."
She said, opening the door.
"Mom, why did you come inside?"
I asked.
She was just staring at me, unmoving. I knew it, I look completely ridiculous.
"Chase, can you come up here?"
My eyes started to frantically search for a place to hide. I can't let him see me.
I motioned towards the door to quickly shut it and had gotten there too late seeing Chase walk up to the entrance. Oh no, there's no way out to hide now. I held my head down before him but stepped away.
He caught my wrist but I remained silent. I'm not good enough.
"I'll be downstairs."
Mom said, I could hear a smile in her honey toned voice.
The feel of his hand on my skin were sending waves of electric sensations up my arm.
"Chisa."
He spoke softly, I still had my head hanging low when he gently touched my face.
