Chapter 9: Tears Shed

Nagising ako sa isang madilim na kwarto. It's so dark. It looks like I'm in a cave but when you look above the starts are brightly shinin'.

"Nasaan na ako?"tanong ko. "You're in the trial of time, milady. It's a place where you have to make different choices in order to get back to where you call home,"biglang bulong ni Desmond. "What do you mean, Desmond?"tanong ko. "It's okay,Milady. I will guide you, you only need to choose,"sagot niya.

Naglakad-lakad kami until we reach an area wherein there are two paths. "Ano ang kailangan kong gawin?"tanong ko. "Go forth,Milady analyze each of the paths,"Desmond mentally replied.

Pumasok ako bahagya sa tunnel like path na nasa kanan. Flashes of images bombarded my view.

A scenery came flashing in I'm just watching in a corner. Teka this was my school back on Earth. Teka mga kaibigan ko ba yun?? Eto yung scene na nag away-away kami because of one's fault but I was surprise ng makita ko na d kami nag-away sa pinakita niyang scene.
This is just a mere illusion. It didn't happened on reality.

Another scene appeared. It was me in my usual routine:
*Go to school and study.
*Go home and read books.
*Eat dinner then back to rotation.
I really love to read silently in my room. Then the scene changed again.

It was my younger years back at Dragonia, my hometown. I may be raised on Earth but I was born there. Then an image of a familiar boy appeared in my view. I suddenly feel sad.

"I will not let you cry again. I will protect you always. No matter what happens you will always be milady. I promise,"his words echo around the place. He offered his hand to me.

I just look at him not noticing the tear drops run out my eyes.

"Liar! You disobeyed your promised,"my mind spoke.

I decided to check the other path as soon as the tears stop flowing from my eyes.

I noticed that I'm holding Desmond tightly.

"Does my grip hurts?" I asks. He did not reply.

I head to the other path to check it. Unlike the other path, this path was dimly lighted. As expected scenes from my past bombarded my view. Those we're the times of my downfall but all of those are nothing but truth.

I've saw that boy again and this time, he slowly disintegrate from the background until nothing is left but sand particles being blown away by the wind. And again sadness dominated my emotions.
