Maria's POV
I was about to enter the rest room when I saw my colonel standing a little near from where I'm standing. I smiled at him but it seems like he's thinking about something else.

I waved at him.

No response.

"Uhmmm Col. nice to see you again."

I snap him from his daze. "Good day Lieutenant Ross."

"Uhmm excuse me for a moment please." Then I enter the rest room.

"Wait lieutenant, Lieutenant Hawkeye is there in the rest room. Would you please talk to her for me."

I stopped, "Why? Is there something wrong?"

"That's the question and I need an answer. She's been acting so weird lately and it makes me worry about her."

I simply salute at him.

Then I completely entered the rest room.

I knew that there's something special between them even before the promise day. I'm not that close with Lieutenant Hawkeye but I'm a woman as well. I could feel them from the first time I saw them here at Central.

But when that nightmare came, everything had changed. When I was framed up and became the main suspect of the general's murder case, I didn't know what to do.

Then, he came and saved me from death. He's my knight in shining armor. He saved me even if I'm the suspect of his best friend's death. He didn't judge me even if I'm not as close to him as Lt. Hawkeye.

And I love him for that.
