Roy's POV

"It's true. Maybe I won't have a face to show to you. To be honest, I'm ashamed when I saw you with those eyes.," I said not looking in her eyes and locked with her embrace. Reminiscing the time of war.

She simply comforted me. "If I didn't join the military maybe I am faithfully waiting for you during the war like Glacier.," She looked away. "Though I am not a girlfriend, we're equivalent of a family, right?"

"I am serious when I said that 'you're probably my wife now'. Though I am not even sure if you would say yes to me nor forgive me if you found out that I wasn't able to use your father's research for the happiness of the people."

"Somehow, you used it to saved your fellow comrades during the war. You saved me many times using flame alchemy." She looked up at me with her red face. "Why not Lt. Ross? She's a nice lady. She told me that she fell in loved with you from the day you saved her..."

"From the day 'we' saved her.," I smiled.

"Player."

"Hey! Its not my fault if I was born irresistible and charming.," I laughed.

"Whatever womanizer."

I laughed a little.

"She's into you. Why not taking her seriously?"

I was shocked with what she stated, "Are you jealous?" A smirk in my lips escaped. 'However, is Ross really alright with our setup?'

"And who do you think you are Flame Colonel? Too bad for you cause you're still a colonel."

"Hey! It's not my fault, I lost my strict subordinate to remind me to get back to work."

"Do I have to consider asking the Fuhrer to return me to your office since you found a spoiler?"

"Don't you missed having a slacker superior rather than a collected one like Colonel Archer? I guess your life's been so boring now a days."

"Oh look who's jealous now!" She smiled teasingly. "You asked me few days ago about proposing to Lt. Ross, right? Have you asked her and accepted it?"

She really think that I would do that? A smirk escaped again on my lips.

"And why are you smirking like that huh?!"

"Oh nothing. We've been together for so long and this kind of moment were very rare for us."

"What will happen now? My grandfather, I know for sure that they've noticed that I'm missing in action."

"The Fuhrer will keep his calmness and relax knowing that I'm the one here with you.," I assured her. "Lt. Hawkeye, I'm just wondering why does the Fuhrer wants you to marry Col. Archer?"

"For assurance? I don't know."

"You're not really close with your grandfather huh!?"

"Fuhrer Grumman and his wife, my mother's parents were against their relationship regardless of my father's family background, for being one of the noble family. They fought for each other to the point that they've been rejected. That's the reason why my parents were stranged with my other relatives. I don't know anyone of them. Except the Fuhrer. He recognized me when we were deployed at the Eastern Headquarters remember?"

"Yeah. Because of the resemblance of you and your mom, he recognized you automatically."
