Riza's POV

It feels like I'm a princess waiting for a prince or a knight to come and save me from this event. Cause right at this moment, here at the staircase, I could see my king dancing with someone else. Im stock in a situation that I never saw coming. I will marry somebody that I never love and the only one I loved is now happy with someone. The worst part is that my king is pushing me to someone's arms.

"Is there something wrong Riza?"

Finally, someone could feel me, could here me crying inside. But I smiled at her.

"If you need anything just call me okay!?" Oh Rebecca, I'm so thankful you're here.

I knew she could feel me, those loneliness that she might see through my eyes. But only a smile is my answer, that's all I could offer.

"There he is, your future husband.," she said as I turn around and saw a guy in his suit.

"What's the matter? The people are waiting for our dance as an engaged couple. May I?"

"I'm sorry, but I don't feel well. Would you please excuse me, I have to go to the comfort room."

.......

Roy's POV

That's it! That's why she'd acted strange this past few days. It's her engagement with Col. Archer.

The Fuhrer demolished the fraternization law but he arranged a complicated situation for his granddaughter. What's on his mind?

I'm glad that Ross is now comfortable and enjoying this party. I left her for a moment with my unit and went outside.

The moon is really beautiful. While I'm looking at the beautiful night sky I saw a lady with a sad face standing at the balcony. And I'm surprised that it's Riza. She looks so beautiful as the moon shines in her watery eyes.

"Riza? I mean ahm Lieutenant why so sad?," I asked.

She smiled at me but her eyes tell it all. "Can you steal me for a moment? Let's sneak out and take me somewhere else please!"

"You wanna sneak out? Ok let's go!" I think no one would notice the bright lights if I'll do some alchemy I've learned from truth from here. I clapped my hands and transmuted the ground and turned it into a stair. I walked up the stairs and help her to go down. I returned it to its normal form and run with her.
