Riza's POV
It all started when my colonel saved Ross and now here they are. Together, no one could take them apart.

I never had a chance to confess my feelings for him. I have to accept the fact that I'm just one of his chess pieces. I'm just his queen for his team and not in his heart.

I am walking here at the Central Headquarters hallway and suddenly someone touched my shoulder. I turned around to see whom it was and it's Roy. "Colonel," I saluted him.

"Is there's something wrong?"

"Ahm no sir."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

He smiled at me. "If you have anything in mind, don't hesitate to tell me, ok?"

"Yes sir."

"Oh by the way, I and Lt. Ross will be having a date tonight with her parents. Do you think it's the right time to propose to her."

"It's all up to you sir. Anyway, I don't want to talk about personal matters during work time. It's really unprofessional Sir. So if I were you I'll stop it right now. In addition, she's still your subordinate."

He smirked, "if you say so Lieutenant!"

I continue walking on the hallway. I don't care if he's a superior. For now, I wanna walk fast. Fast as I could just to escape from this.

I went to the restroom and found out that I'm the only one who's there by that time. I closed a cubicle and cry.

I thought it was me. I am the one who was there for him through the rough times and through the happy moments. I thought I'm the one he needs.

I never left him. I trusted him.
