HER LOVE

'I know what I saw' I heard Terence say.

'And what was it you saw?' I asked coming downstairs.

'Sarah! You will believe me right?' he came up to me 'I saw her. I saw Layla' he was desperate like.

'What? Really? From where? Did you say anything to her?' I was shocked. And more shocked that of all the people he had to see Layla.

At first, I wasn't sure of the situation but I looked at the others and saw them give me pitiful looks.

'Come here' Terence lightly pulled me up to the hallway and said 'I saw her there. And she was telling me something'

'Oh my goodness? A ghost?' I asked putting a hand on my mouth. Did Layla die? No way!!

'She wasn't...' he tried to explain 'she wasn't human like yeah. But even if she was like that. I swear I seen her' and 'I think she needs me. Why would she suddenly appear like that?'

'Is she trying to give us a signal? Wonder where she is?' I acted nicely. But I was truly concerned. Why would Layla come here? And she was a ghost.

'Are you serious Sarah?' Aron came to me 'we can't be sure if this is some ghostly prank'

'What do you mean ghostly prank?' I asked stopping Terence from jumping on Aron.

'This is not something like that!! Layla was here! And I know she needs me!' Terence said in rage.

'I believe that you saw her' Aron said 'but then, why would she suddenly show up at this house? Which she never knew. And why after all this time? And she is a ghost. Meaning...' he paused there.

'Are you saying she is dead?' Terence asked in a low growl.

'Whoa wait wait' I stepped in between them and glanced at Kevin and Travis for help. They were already near us though.

'Huh!!? Are you saying she is dead!!?' Terence growled at Aron who looked as cool as a cucumber.

'Damn it! Stop it you two! Look Terence!' I pulled him away with much force 'I believe you. So please. Let's figure this out nicely' I glanced at Aron 'will appreciate if you also help us' I gave him a stern look.

Aron shrugged 'alright'

After sometime we all seated near the kitchen counter and had a moment of silence.

'It all happens in movies where witches can do many impossible things. So I guess Layla did something similar to get here' I tried to make sense of what I wanted to say.

'She is not a witch though' Terence said 'her grandma is'

'Yes exactly why it would be possible' I nodded.

'Let's wait for another sign?' Kevin asked 'this is the first time. We have to confirm that she really is there. And it's not some other ghost taking her form and doing whatever'

We all looked at him.

'What?' he innocently raised his hands in defense 'I have been watching stuff you know?'

'Stuff' I raised both my eyebrows.

'Alright then' Terence sighed 'if I see her... or if anyone else see her. Then what?'

'Should I search for the 'how to communicate with ghosts?' thingy?' I asked excitedly 'oh wait we can use an Ouija board'

'Woahh' everyone disagreed 'are you crazy? No we are not using that thing' Travis said.
