The room around Amelia was seeming to be spinning. She tried her best to calm herself down, but with the situation, she was in how could she not freak out?

"Now I'm sure you're wondering why you are here darling" The so-called 'Holy one' had spoken as a man handed her a cup of tea. Or was that blood? Amelia squinted her eyes trying to figure out what was in that teacup.

"Thank you, Terrance" The man named Terrance nodded slowly as he walked out of the room without a trace. Amelia let out a soft sigh as she watched the woman in front of her take a sip from the decorative teacup her lips now stained a satin crimson red. Yup, that was blood.

After dabbing her lips dry with a handkerchief she went to clear her throats before going to speak "in Isla Mordant" she spoke with the way to much pride and confidence that it made Xander's eye twitch just the slightest. He hated that woman with a passion. But he had to listen to her seeing that she was the leader of them all.

"Amelia"

"I already know who you are dear no need for introducing yourself," Isla said with an amused laugh as she reached back into her chair. The snakes around her roaming around as they pleased. Her hands and arms then rested on the armrest of the golden throne.

"You may leave us now Xander, I'll call you back when I'm through with this one" Isla spoke as her Emerald green eyes glanced towards Xander. He nodded respectfully as he turned making his way out of the room.

Once there was no one to be seen, Isla glanced down at Amelia with such interest.

"My you are beautiful" Isla commented with envy laced in her voice " you must get those looks of yours from your mother" she had gotten up from her throne slowly as she walked towards Amelia. Who had stiffened just the slightest from what she may do? With a swift move of Islas' hand, she had grabbed hold of Amelia's chin with her fingers. Her fingernails digging into her flawless porcelain skin.

"Please, I" Amelia started off not sure of what she was going to say "what do you want with me?" Her words made Isla laugh as though it were a joke. She had her hand resting on her chest as Isla stared down at the girl.

"Oh, darling darling little Amelia" She started off as a snake made its way across her shoulder slowly while hissing. It almost sounded like it was laughing.

"Your father hasn't told you?" Isla asked with a finely trimmed brow. Amelia shook her head as she looked up at her in confusion.

"Told me what?"

"Oh, this is going to be a long night for the both of us" Isla let the words slip off her tongue with a small breath soon then parting from her lips. She had begun making her way back to her throne and went to sit down slowly. She tapped her crimson painted fingernails on the arms rest in thought while staring into oblivion before pulling herself back to earth. Oh, Amelia hadn't a single clue of what secrets her father hid from her.

"I'm going to tell you a little story" Isla started off as she let her gaze fall onto Amelia. Her lips parting ever so slightly.

"Once there were a man and a woman who had fallen in love" Amelia squinted her eyes slightly at the starting of this little story. Where was this woman exactly going with this?

"After a few months the woman had found out that she was pregnant with his child, but the man had found it to be odd seeing as Vampires can't produce children themselves" Isla drew out a small breath as she stared at the empty space in front of her.

"Soon a war had broken out over upon hearing the news of a vampire bearing a child, not knowing what it will turn out to be when it's born. So, the man fled leaving the woman and his unborn child to fend for themselves" She paused swallowing the dry lump that had formed In her throats before continuing "after a few months had gone and past she gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, who she had named Amelia"

If Amelia's heart could still beat it would have stopped right then and there. Her eyes widened and she could feel the room around he become smaller and smaller.

"I" Amelia breathed out shakily "no I can't"

Isla glanced over at Amelia while shaking her head slowly. As she then went to stand up from her throne and making her way towards her daughter.

"He took you from me" Isla snapped angrily " that bastard of a man took you from me" her voice was now shaky as Amelia just sat there in a daze. Had she to be dreaming right? She would soon wake up in her bed at home and none of this was real.

"Lucius is going to pay for what he has done" Isla spoke threateningly as she was now kneeling on one knee in front of Amelia.

"I can't be your daughter" Amelia spoke in a stutter as she stood up from where she was sitting "I can't" She had found herself bumping back into someone. But she was too dazed to turn back and see who it was.

"Your holiness" Xander spoke up as he let out a small breath. His posture straightened.

"I'm in the middle of something here Xander" Isla mumbled frustrated as she went to pinch the brim of her nose with her index finger and her thumb "what could it possibly be that is so dire?"

"Well you have visitors," He said before clearing his throat and placing his hands behind his back. With a long sigh, Isla placed her hands down to her sides.

"Very well" She nodded slowly before she began to walk to the door "Xander mind keeping an eye on her for me will you?"

"Will pleasure your holiness" Xander smiled promisingly. Right, when she left and had closed the door he cut the act he was playing.

"I'm getting you the hell out of here" He spoke quickly as he went to cut the ropes that tied Amelia's wrist together. She winced from the burning caused by the vervain. Her wrist was red and torn from the ropes rubbing against them.

"I" She started off in a stutter "you're helping me escape?"

Xander stopped for a moment before tilting his head to the side with a small shrug "Yes, your mother is not what she seems"

"So, she is my mother?" Amelia spoke as her face became that of an expressionless statue.

"Sadly yes, but as I said she's not what you think she's trying to play at" With those words said the ropes had fallen to the floor allowing Amelia to rub at the dry and torn skin of her wrist. Xander had gone to take a small flask from out of his coat pocket and unscrewed the cap of the flask slowly "Here this will help" He said while going to pour a clear liquid onto her wrist as it the scars and redness started to fade away instantly. Almost like magic.

"What was that?" Amelia questioned curiously as Xander as putting back the flask into his pocket.

"Water that I have gotten from a river which is said to heal anything," He said with a small grin before going to grab her hand gently "Looks like it worked"

Amelia's eyebrows knitted together slowly as she stared at him "You've never used it?" She asked with a light laugh of uncertainty.

"Let us just say you were my rat for the experiment," He said with a light chuckle before pulling her along with him towards the door "now come on before the wicked witch of the bloodsuckers comes back"
