The cool night breeze and the sound of Jazz players filled the midnight air. Everything was like a kaleidoscope as New Orleans was a dazzling scene of colors, sights, and sounds. The city itself was very much alive and booming with people. Amelia was well aware that they were still on this mission, so she tried to keep herself together and not forget.
"So here we are" Xander announced as Amelia's attention was drawn towards him. Her gaze now peering up to a bright red neon sign that was above a double iron door. It read "THE RED LADY" in big letters.
"The Red Lady?" Amelia asked suspiciously with a raised brow "is this like some stripper club or something because I'm not into that"
An amused chuckle escaped from Xander's lips as he shook his head "This is an exclusive club for vampires only...with some exceptions of course" He said with a smirk forming onto his as he looked at her. His eyes seeming to change to a slight crimson color with a mischievous glint in his eye.
Madelyn stood next to him while going to thread her fingers through her hair slowly. A light red glow bouncing from off of her olive yet seemingly looking pale skin tone "Come on now are we going to go in or what?" she asked her brother with a touch of annoyance laced in the tone of her voice.
"No need to be so crabby little sister" Xander replied with a small roll of his eyes. He went to walk up to the double iron door which he knocked on three times. A little slot then soon opened the door which a pair of crimson eyes soon they were able to be seen. The eyes scrunched together in a thinking formation as Xander went to clear his throat.
"Password" The surprisingly deep Russian accent voice spoke up from behind the iron door. Xander went to tug on the sleeve of his suit showing the pair of blood crimson eyes a strange symbol that looked to be burned into Xander's skin. The doors soon then opened as the trio stepped into another world. Red velvet sofas lined the walls with waiters and waitresses walking around with what Amelia caught a glimpse of to be blood in champagne glasses. As they walked down the dimly lit hallway.
"Ah Xander" A well-dressed man spoke up as he seemed to appear out of nowhere "welcome back, we've been missing your company here lately as well as your sister" The man smirked slightly while going to take Madelyn's hand into his before pressing his lips onto the tips of her knuckles. Amelia noticing a blush creeping upon Madeyln's cheeks
"Well Alistair, our absence has a good reasoning, but tonight I thought the three of us could use a bit of a break from life" Xander spoke in a different tone of manner from that of earlier. Which made Amelia furrow her eyebrows together slightly.
"Ah yes, your little blonde friend here" The smirk was still kept on his lips as he let Madelyn's hand slip from his own before going to step over towards Amelia. A swift of cologne hitting her nose. Alistair seemed to be one for fancy suits and well-primped hair. He went to grab hold of Amelia's hand slowly as she noticed Xander move an inch towards her just the slightest.
"This is Amelia, Amelia this is Alistair, an old...acquaintance of mine" Xander spoke up before going to clear his throat a bit awkwardly.
"Amelia, like a name from a fairy tale" Alistair found himself to be in a daze at the beauty before him. He was known to steal things that didn't belong to him. And oh how he dearly wanted to steal Amelia's heart away from Xanders knowing full well that he was beginning to grow feelings for the young hybrid. Madelyn went to scrunch her nose up as she crossed her arms over her chest. She wasn't the one to get jealous but she was so used to Alistair swooning her that now she wasn't liking the idea of sharing him at all.
"Well then let's go to our usual room then shall we?" Alistair insisted as Xander nodded in agreement. Amelia went to draw her hand back and let it fall down to her side. Amelia took in the new sights that surrounded her. It was like she was being transported back in time to another century. She passed a man who had his teeth sunk into a young woman's wrist while then they passed a few tables that had women dancing on top of them with people surrounding them in pure pleasure at the sight.
