Our story is about a town, a small town, and the people who live in the town. From a distance, it presents itself like so many other small towns all over the world... safe. decent. innocent. Get closer, though, and you start seeing the shadows underneath. the name of our town is Riverdale. And our story begins, i guess, with what the blossom twins did this summer. on the Fourth of July, just after dawn, Jason and Cheryl Blossom drove out to sweetwater River for an early morning boat ride. The next thing we know happened for sure is that Dilton Doiley, who was leading Riverdale's Boy Scout Troop on a bird watching expedition, came upon Cheryl by the river's edge. Riverdale's Police dragged Sweetwater River for Jason's body but never found it. so a week later, the Blossom family buried an empty casket and Jason's death was ruled an accident, as the story that Cheryl told made rounds. That Cheryl dropped a glove in the water, and Jason reached down to get it. and accidentally tipped the boat, and panicked, and drowned. As for us, we were still talking about the"July Fourth Tragedy" on the last day of summer vacation, When a new mystery rolled into town.

Third person point of view
"Are you excited? Nervous?" Kevin asked Betty while scrolling through Betty's brothers Instagram.
"Both. I haven't seen him all summer." Betty admitted turning to look at her best friend who was laying on her bed
"Which is why nerves are acceptable, but we agreed, Betty...it's time. You like him, he likes you." Kevin stated like it was the most obvious thing
"Well, then why, Kevin, hasn't he ever said or done anything?" Betty asked while applying blush to her cheeks
Kevin sighed "Because Archie's swell, but like most millennial straight guys, he needs to be told what he wants, so tell him, finally." he said as he stood up from his spot on Betty's bed
"well, we'll see, it depends. but what about you? are you ever going to tell Ollie that you like him?" Betty said while finishing up her makeup
Kevin quickly shushed Betty "okay first of all his room is right next to yours, so be quiet, and second i don't even know if he's into guys." Kevin wispier yelled hoping that Oliver hadn't heard anything
Betty rolled her eyes "well if i can tell Archie then you can tell my brother-" Betty was cut off by a knock on her bedroom door. Betty got up from her vanity and opened her door to revel Oliver standing there "Hey Betty I'm heading out to pops now, do you want walk with me or are you going with Archie?" he asked with a smile not noticing Kevin staring at him.
"I'm going to walk with Archie, besides i'm not done getting ready so i would just make you late for work" Betty said while glancing at Kevin with a knowing look.
Oliver nodded "Alright, i'm leaving then. good luck with your date Betty, bye Kevin" he waved good bye to his sister and Kevin and left them to go back to what ever they were doing.
Betty shut her door and went back to her vanity, while Kevin sighed looking out the window seeing Archie in the house next to them shirtless "Oh my god!" he exclaimed running over to the window with his mouth open in shock.
"What?" Betty asked looking over at her best friend in confusion. "Game-changer. Archie got hot! he's got abs now." Kevin stated while Betty quickly made her way over to the window.
"Six more reasons for you to take that ginger bull by the horns tonight." Kevin said as they both checked Archie out, but Kevin couldn't help but let his eyes wonder to the figure walking down the street out side "I wonder what Oliver looks like with out a shirt" Kevin wondered out loud with a dreamy look causing Betty to make gagging sounds "Ew! he's my brother" she said disgusted as she walked over to her closet "now help me figure out what to wear".
I know it was really short and crappy but its really late and im super tired, i promise the next chapter will be longer.
Oliver works at pops in case you didn't catch that and i kind of want him to be really good friends with Jughead i dont know... what do you guys think?
Also this is my first fanfic so please don't judge it to harshly
