"We need to talk" Demitri calmly said as he eased from the hood of his car where he once leaned, my skateboard in hand.

TO BE CONTINUED...

He began walking towards me and handed my skateboard to me. I took it and went inside to put it by the door, closing the door behind me

" Talk about what" I asked, already having a clue, well hoping he was talking about his and Holland's big secret.

" There's something I need to tell you, it's about Pixie... well Holland"

"Pixie?" I asked, acting surprised at the mention of this strange name

" It was her name back then" he continued

BACK THEN?

 BACK

 THEN

" Come on" Demitri yelled, half drunken and about as high a kite by now from whatever drugs he was drowning himself in. It proved nothing but a futile attempt to help ease the pain and discomfort he was feeling

He was having another episode, one of his breakdown sessions again, but this time he was no where in Abbernathy. Far from home, far from all the watching and prying eyes

This was his secret, his deepest fear. Hidden. From everyone except his family. Not even his best friend, his brother, JAY.

Two years ago, when he had his first episode, his parents took him up to Malfoy Avenue which was more than 50 miles from Abbernathy. There was a specialist there that could possibly help Demitri. There were of course other specialists nearby but they wanted this secret to be one that stay hidden and not just until its time to be revealed but hidden FOREVER.

They could not have the world seeing this side of their perfect son, Demitri Peter Hale.

After their session with the doctor they drove back down leaving him with his uncle that lived about a mile away.

After his uncle left for the graveyard shift, he decided he needed some fun, a medium of release before going back to home the next day.

He and his new buddies that he met at the club ordered another round of vodka shots with high hopes of getting lost in the moment, at the feel of that first buzz. Raised to a new standard, a little higher by the feeling of ecstasy they would receive This was Demitri's first time drinking so heavily and he had no idea all that would come after, his focus was only on this moment, this night and which lucky girl he would take home tonight.

His eyes scan quickly over the dance floor, looking for someone to spend his night with. Possibly a night crafted from lust and pure desire, but who cares. His tastes were no suited. He couldn't possibly choose until he heard that laugh. The one that echoed throughout the little space they were all in. Her loud laugh sounded triumphantly over the booming bass that was blaring through the crisp air and leaving a resounding thud in its wake.
