I woke up with a somewhat new pep in my step, something else to look forward too rather than all these girls, lighting up my phone after getting too attached

I had breakfast with the family and informed mom of my plans.

Soon enough I was out of the house and on my 15 minutes drive to Guillermo's

The drive to Guillermo's was peaceful and I found a parking spot easily.

I got out and began walking towards the red brick building, observing its every arch, window structure, the entire architectural design from top to bottom, where I found another piece of fine architecture standing by one of the outside tables.

Allison.

I walk over and greeted her with a cheek kiss, earning me a smile in return.

"You're on- time for once" she noted

"Quite a few things have changed since you left" I answered as we entered the small cafe

Inside was full as a result of booming business even though it was barely noon.

We quickly ordered and made our way to the seating area outside.

The French vanilla cappuccino was delicious and my croissant. MHHhhmmmmmm.

Just perfect!

We sat there, getting out daily dose of Vitamin D and catching up on the past.

Strange enough, every time I brought up Marlin's Academy she became dodgy. I mean she loved swimming and is always dying to talk about it.

10 minutes in she got a call and this changed her expression for a bit. First her eyes furrowed as she looked weirdly at me. Probably thinking I was hearing who was on the other end.

Her expression then transformed to utter joy, her face radiant and her voice animated.

Yes sweetheart, I'll be home soon, just a few more days

Sweetheart?

Who's she calling sweetheart?

She's got a man!!!

This I'll have to dig into.

The call was soon over and her face filled with a brimming smile that seemed unmovable.

She soon realized that I was staring, ready to become nosy.

"Don't even start" She warned

"I wasn't going to say anything" I said in mock surrender, holding up my hands in the air as I did so

"Later" I muttered under my breath

A message came in not a minute later and I grabbed the phone.

"Lover boy can't get enough, can he" I asked as I looked on the screen.

What was displayed on the screen caught my attention, It shouldn't have, but it did.

The message was hidden but the wallpaper was enough to hold my gaze.

Grey eyes

Dark curls

Red lips

There stood a little boy no older than 2 , playing on the sand of a crowded beach with whom I recognize to be Alli's mom, a plastic bucket and shovel in his hand.

He looked familiar as though I've seen before, but where?

I stared at the phone with such determination to try and figure out who he looked like, but I couldn't place the face.
