Trigger Warning ~ Just sadness I guess. I just felt the need for this warning.

--------|-/ Stay Alive ---------

Kelly came home and put her stuff down. A sigh left her mouth as she sat down at the table. It was quiet, usually the kids would be messing around.

"Jay has a game so he stayed after school, Maddie went to a friend's house and Zack is out with Chris...so where's Tyler?" She thought out loud and got up. She started looking around. "Tyler?"

His bedroom door was open but he wasn't there. "Maybe he's with Josh?"

She smiled at the thought, the two were always close and she knew there was something. Even if the two couldn't see it. Her train of thought was cut off when she heard mumbling from the basement.

"I won't take much of your time, I just want to see what I have made inside these lines"

Kelly carefully walked down the steps and looked over the railing, Tyler didn't seem to notice.

"It's as good as I can be." He mumbled, "It's as good as I can be. This is all that I can be."

She looked at him and smiled, he was praying. With that gental thought she walked back up stair. Still in ear shot in case he need a her.

"This is that I can be, all that I can be." She noticed that he repeated that. The imagine of him praying was a blessing to her. His head tilted down, knees on the ground. He was finally going to God.

"I will ask, please..." The talking stopped, and she shrugged. But was startled to hear "SAVE ME!!!"

He wasn't just yelling, no he was screaming. Screaming for God to save him over and over and over. And then she was crying. She only knew of one thing to do. Kelly called Josh.

"Hello? Ms. Joseph? What's wrong?"

"It's Tyler, he won't stop screaming."

Josh hung up and ran out the door after slipping random shoes on. He bust into the Joseph home and ran over to Kelly, hearing the screaming. Save me save me

"Where is he?" Josh asked frantically. She pointed to the basement. "Ok you need to leave, Jay's game is about to start. I have Tyler. Go."

She wiped her tears and nodded. She trusted Tyler in Josh's hands and left to make it to the game. Josh walked down stairs and sat next to Tyler. Who was still screaming. He placed a hand in his shoulder, Tyler looked up through tears and stopped screaming.

"I deserve for you to turn away." He said and lightly pushed my chest. I simply pulled him closer. "I was ashamed to speak your name."

Josh used to be the class nerd, a loser. While Tyler was the top basketball player. The two had grown up together, but once high school came. He changed and didn't want to be known to hang around a "loser"

But Josh didn't mind if Tyler didn't talk to him during school. He got him on Saturdays and Sundays. Especially Sunday.

"I can't believe that all you see is that you have covered me gracefully." Tyler whispered to him. Josh simply smiled, but let Tyler keep going.

"You're all I want to be." Tyler told him and repeated it "You're all I want to be. You're all I ever need."

"You're all I ever need." Josh repeated. Tears were streaming down Tyler's face as he looked up.

"Jesus, Jesus...please..." Josh pulled Tyler into a hug as he screamed again. His screams sounding muffled slightly because of Josh's neck. But he screamed into his neck anyway. Letting our his pain, and love for Josh never leaving. Once Tyler was done he pulled away a d looked at Josh, a small smile on his face.

"I won't take much of your time, just enoughfor you to save me."

And Josh kissed him.
