"Hey Kat! How are you today?" I say smiling. "Well Julia I am doing good, but I am really glad you came in today. So many weird people ordered today..." The man behind me started sniffing. Kat responded with just "not meaning you of course sir" and then looked back at me and rolled her eyes. I couldn't help myself but start snortlaughing. "Well" Kat said with a smile "the usual for you?" "Yes, but..." "I know I know with an extra drizzle of chocolate syrup." "You know me too well" I responded. Kat was one of my good friends here in New York and believe me it's very hard to find decent and lovely people in NYC. I have been living here for about one year now and well I am studying performing arts at Uni. But more information on me later. "Kat?" looking up from my cup she answered with a nonchalant "Yeah? Do you want more?" "Yeah just bag a croissant for me will ya I am very hungry my friend." Kat just looked at me and started laughing "Don't say that word anymore" she snorted "You're saying it completely wrong!" My cheeks started blushing because it was kind of embarrassing. I think you would feel the same if your friend started cry laughing in a very full Starbucks. "Kat zip it, that's so embarrassing!" We both walk over to the cashier. "I am sorry but you always say quackson, get that frog out of your mouth will ya darling." "Okay man, but just don't do that anymore, capiche?" I replied. "Capiche Kermit" Kat said laughing.
