He paused for a second and then started talking. "Julia right?" "Yep..." what was he up to? "Julia I am so sorry I obviously know who you are it's just that I don't want anybody to know why I ran into you... my gir- well someone pissed me off earlier today. And I want that to stay private." Oh Harrison was right, he actually is a very nice human being. "It's- it's okay T-Tom really don't worry about it." I turned around to go back to where Kat and Jacob were sitting. "Heyyy, wait a sec" he shouted from behind me "I am going that way too. I mean it's the only way out sooo..." "Oh okay haha." "I mean you can walk on alone but..." "Oh no no" why am I so awkward? We came to a halt and I wanted to open the door but Tom already did that for me. Kat and Jacob stood up and to my astonishment Jacob hugged Tom. Wait is that the friend he was talking about earlier. Wait so I was right with my "puppy eyes" theory! Man I could be a detective. "Julessss and how was it? Who was your partner?" "Ehm well Kat this is Tom, Tom this is Kat- I mean Katherine." "Nice to meet you" Tom went for the handshake this time. Well why did he want to hug me then? Kat gave me a weird look and gestured to me to come over to her. "Jules omg" I didn't know why she was so flustered. "What Kat, what?" "Are you kidding me? That's the guy from this superhero movie!!! Don't tell me you didn't recognize him." "Oh god" I held onto Kat. "Nooo way you didn't recognize him" "shush itttt. I don't want him to hear that." I looked back an saw him having a nice chat with Jacob. He looked really cute. Anyways back to my conversation with Kat. "So tell me how could you not see it was him? I mean even I saw it and I don't even remember what I ate yesterday!" "I don't know it's just that Kat he is "puppy eyes"." Kat's eyes widened "Nooo way. He looks brilliant! No wonder you said he was the most good looking guy you have ever seen." "Everything good over there?" Jacob asked. "Yeah we're fineeee" Kat yelled back. "So Jules what does this mean now?" "What do you mean?" "Well aren't you gonna go over to him and talk to him?" "Ehm no. Why should I he's definitely not interested in me." "Why would you say that?" "I-I actually don't know but I'll come back to you when I have an answer." Kat smiled and hugged me. She whispered into my ear. "I love you lots Julia Bishop and thank you for being my friend. Please always stay as you are because you are special. You have an important place in my heart." A tear rolled down my cheek and I hugged her back. I gave her the tightest hug I could manage. "Love you too Katherine." Jacob and Tom walked up to us and we all stood there in silence. Up until Jacob started talking. "Girls do you fancy going to a café or so with us? I mean if you don't have anything to do today." I thought about it, well I actually wasn't sure if I should go. I didn't want things to be awkward between Tom and I but who am I kidding if I were to work with him at least I could hang out with him before. Like that I'll maybe get to know him better. Kat looked at me and punched Jacob in the arm "count us in brooo" "Thanks Kat, why do girls always punch people's arms man" he looked at Tom who weirdly looked at me. Wait was he lost in thoughts like I always am or has he got a crush on me? "Tommo hey man wake up!!" "Oh sorry I was gone for a sec haha" we all laughed and I started blushing. Kat went up to Jacob and yanked him and his arm away, they were already walking away leaving Tom and I stand there. Awkward situation number 4 I believe well at some point I'll stop counting. "Well let's go then" Tom said smiling. "I hope this'll not be weird at all" I thought to myself and smiled back.
