"I know, I know" Kat said and then hugged me. "But darling we have to get you out of these clothes I mean it's your turn soon isn't it?" "Number 222 please!" someone with a head set shouted at full volume. "Well it's not my turn for at least twelve hours then" I said looking at my number tag. „What, that can't be, what number do you have?" Kat said bewildered. "Kat, you can go home if you want..." "Jules just tell me which number you have." "Okay it's 637" I said looking at Kat with big eyes. "Wow there, we're gonna be here a while then" Kat said. She gave me a reassuring smile. "But I think it's best when you already change, I mean you never know how fast these auditions can go. We could be at number 300 by now." "223 please" the man with the head set yelled again and Kat just said "well who knows maybe 222's audition was really good and they wanted to keep her in there for a while... I shouldn't have said that out loud. Right?" "Right." "Jules I know you'll get this job!" "Okay then, I'll go and look for the toilets and you keep record of the current number. Deal?" "Deal. Now go and look for it." I picked up my shopping bags and hurried up a set of stairs at the end of the big hall because I had the feeling that there were toilets. I was actually right with the toilets. I went along the corridor until I heard someone say something. "Oh god, oh god" I thought to myself. I recognized the voice from earlier today. And no it wasn't the poor Hispanic cab driver, who in the end was very nice to us, who was in the building, it was someone else. The voice was getting louder which meant it was getting nearer. I wasn't prepared to see him, I had no way to escape from him...
