I just stared into the middle distance, when I heard a familiar voice. Kat was looking down at her phone so she didn't see in what my clothes looked like. "I'm back, the bin was in another galaxy if you'd ask me and it was full so I had to go to ano-" she looked up. "Jules what the flipping duck! What happened. I'm gone for a few minutes and come back to see this." "Yeah, well long story short some did ran into me" I saw that Kat was trying not to laugh, but if you think about it it was actually a very funny encounter. "Kat go on laugh I know you're trying not to bu-" Kat started cry laughing and I couldn't help myself but laugh too. After a solid few minutes we stopped laughing and Kat sat down next to me. It was about 2pm now and my audition started at 5pm. "I actually love your outfit today, although it's drenched in chocolate syrup." "I picked this out for the audition..." "Aww honey don't worry they'll never notice I mean if you close both eyes enough you don't see anything." "Way to cheer me up Kat, thanks" I thought to myself. "Well Kat you know what that means, right?" Kat didn't know what that meant. "You're not going to the audition?" "Of course I am going." "Well, we're gonna go and get something to eat? Because I am staaarving" she said rubbing her stomach. "No- I mean yes later!" Kat rolled her eyes. "We're going shopping now. I have to look good for this audition." "Yeah that was my next thought" Kat yawned. "Okay let's go then!" I said and we both stood up and made our way to the exit of the Central Park. "I have to look good for this audition!"
