*One month later**
"Walking down 29th and park, I saw you in another's arms"
Phil's POV
The minute my eyes set upon them my heart stopped. Their hands wrapped around one another. Is it bad for me to feel this way? Seeing him smile the way he used to smile to me, holding him close to his heart like he once did when I was down but it was just a matter of time... I know I was the one to end it but I had no other choice, I thought it might have changed him but I guess I was wrong and selfish.
I look over at Skye who also saw them, her eyes filled with fury. She looked down at me, her mood quickly changed...sympathy, and she took my hand to lead me away from them so it wouldn't hurt me more.
"I'm sorry" she said powering ahead and dragging me behind her not making eye contact just keeping her eyes fixed on the path ahead of her.
"Don't be..." I say tears filling my eyes; I can't believe I could be so stupid to even think that he still loved me.
"Well obviously he doesn't, you saw him that night"
Skye stopped and turned around, her mousy brown hair falling over her eyes. She looked at me with confusion, her head tilted to the side like a puppy.
"Why not!? You should not have to see that Phil!" she defends me but my mind thinks differently...
"You deserve to see it, after all you were the one who broke his heart"
A single tear runs down my cheek as I think about the night I broke it off with him. Leaving him broken and sobbing on the ground with myself not caring what he did next, I can't help but regret everything I did that night from coming home and seeing what I saw, to breaking up with him. Before I know it many more tears are tumbling down my cheeks turning them a vibrant pink. Suddenly I'm being buried in Skye's chest in a hug, I listen to her heart slowly beat, her breathes escaping her mouth in a certain pattern calming me down bit by bit. I look up at Skye who has her eyes close probably planning a way to kill Dan.
"Skye?" I ask softly looking up at her
"Hmm?" She replies eyes still closed
"Thanks" I breathe out, removing myself from her arms, looking down at my white shoes.
She gives me a small gentle smile before taking my arm again and pulling me into the ice-cream store on the corner of the street. I walk in and the cool air hits my face, I breathe in the sweet scent lingering around the room.
"Morning, how may I help you" the cashier asks with a bright smile grabbing a scoop and cup
Skye begins staring at the numerous selections that are available, changing her mind continuously before settling on choc mint with chocolate syrup. The cashier scraps her order into a cup and hands it to her.
"What do you want Phil?" She asks pointing at the freezer
"Nothing thanks" I say blankly returning my attention to my shoes.
"Lemon sorbet please" she says handing the cashier the money before looking back at me smiling "Comfort food, believe me it works Hun"
She hands me my favourite cold treat and thanks the cashier before walking back out into the warm air. I stab the sorbet feeling it slowly separate in the middle to bring up a small spoonful of it ... I normally have sorbet as it has little dairy because my body hates me like that and makes me get sick if I have too much, oh the joys of my life.
We both enjoy our snacks in silence whilst walking down the main street. Occasionally I will look up at Skye who is lost in her thoughts still munching on her ice-cream she almost looks furious... I hope she won't do anything to Dan. Most people in my situation wouldn't be upset or anything but for me it's different... very different. In a way I'm finding it hard to deal with, afraid almost of what will happen.

Hiya my little Charmaniacs, geez I'm busy tonight but hey I updated. Guess what...MY WRITERS BLOCK HAS LEFT I am so happy that it has, I have gotten back to writing happier and maybe Sketch.
Yes this chapter is small and some of them will be its just the lyric that I am going off depends on the length.
