"Hey Matthew, nice to see you." I said to break him out of his stare. Then Rose started staring at me. What was going on?

"You two know each other?" They both said at the exactly same time and way.

"Yes, to both of you, but whats going on I don't understand."

     "He's my dad."
     "She's my daughter "
Once again they both said at exactly the same time. I widened my eyes in surprise.

"Oh my god really? I didn't know. Matthew, Rose is in my class and Rose I know your dad because I've been a costumer her every since the cafe was opened. It's a surprise I haven't seen you here."

Matthew placed the pizza's on the table.

"Well im sure glad my Rose has you as a friend. You, are friends I assume?"

     "Yes!"
     "Of course!"
     We replied instantly.

Matthew was to busy to chit chat and went back in the kitchen. Me and Rose looked at eachother and laughed. Then we noticed our pizzas from there amazing smell. My stomach started to growl and it was time to shut it up. It seemed Rose felt the same. Even though Rose's pizza was half the size of mine, but both of our pizza's looked exactly the same.
The only difference was the pizza size and that Rose had a diet pepsi.

     "My pizza is much cuter"

I forgot about the bet and dug in as did Rose. With every slice I lifted cheese would stretch and bend and with every bite I would enjoy the yummy hot taste of sauce and cheese that sunk into my toungue following with a gulp of ice cold pepsi to finish the exquisite experience. Just the water dripping off the cup made me feel thirsty. When I finally finished my pizza I looked over to Rose, she had only eaten half of her small pizza.

     "Why did you stop eating?"

"I was just watching how you were fighting with your food, it's funny." She giggled.

My face turned crimson. Did I really eat weirdly without noticing? If I had then the hunger must have gotten the best of me. I should have noticed.

"I havent eaten all day, sorry, I don't usually eat quickly."

"No it's ok, my dad make's an awsome pizza and I would do the same if I wasn't shy."

"Ok, glad to hear, did you find the book you wanted at the library?"

"No, I looked through them all and there was no sign of it."

We continued to talk more about collage, classmates and other random things, we made jokes and laughed as hard as we could. We were getting along perfectly. Then I remembered I had a copy of the book she needed. I hadn't finished it yet so I'll just give it to her when im done, it would only last a maximum of a week for me to finish it anyways.

"I have a copy of the book you need, I'll finish it this week and give it to you at college."

"Really!? I thought I'd never get it. Thanks Mike." She said as she drew a wide smile on her face.

     "No prob"

It had gotten late and we decided to go home. The cafe was still open, it usually stayed until midnight. We both walked outside and were about to say our bye's. It was dark and late, should she really walk home alone? What if something happened to her on the way? I should thank Peter for his prank, now im always on guard when im out.

     "By-" I cut her off.

"No bye's yet, come on im going to walk you home." I said as I walked infront of her.

"Ok but your going the wrong direction smarty pants."

I walked back to her feeling awkward.

     "That way." she pointed.

We walked together in the breezy night. The streets were empty and the moon was full, allowing It's light to reveal the way.

After ten minutes of walking we reached her house. She lived around three miles away from my apartment with her family.

     "Thanks for walking me home."

"No need for thanks, I'll see you at collage."

"Hey before you leave, give me your number."

     "My number?"

"If you don't mind of course, just incase I have any question about studying. I don't have anyone else to ask."

"Yeah you can have it. I guess im lucky to be the only one then."

"Stop playing, I have friend's you know."

     "Yep, who doesn't." I sighed.

I gave her my number and walked home disappearing into the darkness. By the time I reached home my legs were aching. I had to buy a car. Walking was healthy but a car was more important. I've been late to too many occasions because of this. I dropped my body on my bed and fell into a deep sleep instantly.

The next day I woke up, ate breakfast, and went to have a normal day at collage. I finished all my classes and was heading out to go home to rest before going to work. As I was walking out I heard a call from a distance and turned around.

     "Mike."

It was Rose. I pointed at my watch indicating I was in a hurry and she gave me a thumbs up. I hurried home and layed down on my black leather sofa to rest my eyes. Today I was going to the bank to get a loan but should I buy the Corolla? Maybe I should buy one thats cheaper, I'm sure there are many cars as good as the Corolla or even better at the same price. I'll look more before taking the loan then.

I went out early and looked at more dealers. Most of the cars were too expensive. I decided to go to one last dealer and then go to work. The display of cars was breathtaking. I'm sure I'll find one here I thought as I entered the building walking through the automatic slide door's as the cold air blew in my face and down my shirt. I was astonished and surprised, looking around and seeing all these amazing car's in one place was incredible. It's either now or never Mike. I sighted the employee and he came running, excited to just maybe have an opportunity to sell yet another car for the day.
