Clary and Alec

Chapter 12

Alec POV

It was almost 5pm so Clary would be here soon. I knew Max wouldn't let me down so I waited for Clary holding some flowers. We had been together for almost 2 1/2 months now and although I practically already lived with her I was still nervous and my hands were slightly sweaty

Clary POV

I walked up to the entrance of the greenhouse and saw Max smiling at me with a rose in his hand. He looked cute in his little suit and bowtie.

He carefully handed me the rose and I ruffled his hair

"One day Max you are going to make a girl very happy" I said as he stood grinning at me

"Now where is your lovely brother?" I asked

"Follow the petals Clary" he replied

"Thanks Max" I said and kissed him on the cheek seeing him go bright red.

"Clary can I borrow another manga?" He suddenly said and started taking about the last one. I listened for a couple of minutes before remembering that Alec was probably waiting for me somewhere

"Max I would love to listen but Alec is waiting for me" I said and he stopped talking

"Oh yeah, sorry Clary" he said looking down

"It's okay Max, why don't you go get some Manga books from my room and I'll see you later" I said as he smiled

"Okay, bye Clary"

"Bye Max" I replied hugging him and giving him a little kiss on the cheek

I laughed a little as Max's face went red and carried on following the petals until I came to a portal. I took a deep breath and stepped inside still holding the rose from Max.

I gasped as I saw Alec holding a bunch of flowers smiling at me. I took a moment to look at everything he set out. The meadow was full of flowers and he had set out a blanket laid with food and drinks for us.

Alec POV

It had been a couple of minutes and Clary wasn't usually late but i decided not to worry too much. Just then Clary stepped through the portal and she looked beautiful. She was wearing a white and green dress with brown chelsea boots, her hair was curled so it flowed down her back and Izzy had done her make up perfectly not that she needed it anyway. (Outfit above)

Clary POV

Without thinking I ran to Alec and he dropped the flowers he was holding and I dropped my rose as he engulfed me in a big hug. I looked up at Alec as he held me in his arms and I felt a tear go down my cheek

"Oh Alec its amazing, what did I do to deserve someone like you?"

Alec smiled at me and wiped my tear caressing my cheek

"You little red deserve me, the whole world and even more." Alec replied and kissed my forehead

I held him tightly and hugged him again. I let him go and we sat down on the blanket

"Little red?" I asked

"I thought it suited you very well,love" Alec said and I nodded in agreement smiling at the list of my nicknames Alec had now started

"Hungry?" He asked

"Definitely" I said and we dug into the food Alec had laid out.

Once we had finished we packed away the food leaving only two cakes out for us to eat that had cream piled on top of then

"Alec close your eyes I have a surprise for you" I said

I leaned in closer so he could feel my breath and he assumed I would kiss him but instead I pushed my cake in his face covering him in cream and running off squealing

Alec quickly wiped his face with a napkin and started chasing me

"I'm gonna get you little red!" he shouted as we ran around the field

He caught up to me and grabbed my waist from behind as I squealed in delight and squirmed to get out of Alec's grasp.

He stumbled as I squirmed and we both fell over with him landing on top of my me. We were both laughing when I realised how close Alec was. I could feel his breath on my neck as we stared into each others eyes for a minute before he leaned down and kissed me like we were the last two people on earth.

Alec pulled away and began planting kisses on my neck until he reached my ear and nibbled lightly

"I love you Clarissa Fray" Alec whispered into my ear as he stared at me with his midnight blue eyes

"I love you too Alec Lightwood" I whispered as he kissed me again

We both quickly got up and went to sit down on the blanket. Alec put his blazer around me as it was starting to get chilly and I rested my head on his shoulder as we watched the sunset.

How I would love to draw that sunset.
I turned around to see Alec looking at me and smiled

"You're missing the sunset" I said

"Well I have a much better view right here" he said looking at me

I kissed him again and he laid down on the blanket as I straddled him. I ripped his shirt open and removed it and he slowly placed his hands on my thigh and kissed me. His hand moved up my thigh and my dress went up with it. Alec pulled away looking at me and I nodded signalling that it was okay so he pulled my dress off. He quickly flipped us over so he was on top and we pulled the rest of each others clothes off still kissing. (You get what happens next ;)

Alec POV

I woke up the next morning as the sun was starting to rise. Clary was sleeping with her head resting on my chest and my blazer draped over us as we both were still naked lying on the blanket in the meadow. I gently kissed her forehead and she stirred slightly opening her big green eyes and smiling at me

"Morning little red" I said as I kissed the tip of her nose

"Morning" she said

"We should probably start heading back" she said and I nodded so we both quickly got changed and Clary made a portal to get back to the institute.

Clary POV

I made a portal and me Alec walked through, my hand is his and the basket holding the flowers and left over food in his other hand. We ended up in Alec's room and I kissed him lightly

"I should probably head back to my room, I need to shower and head back to go sleep" I said heading for the door. Suddenly Alec grabbed my wrist and pulled me back spinning me round. My hands landed on his shoulders to steady myself and his hands were on my waist so I didn't fall over.

"Maybe you can just shower here with me and sleep" Alec said with a little smirk as he rested his forehead against mine. I gave a little laugh and said

"Ok let me just get a change of clothes" I said

Alec nodded as I headed out of his room and quietly snuck into my room. I knew no one would be awake yet because when I made the portal the sun was just starting to rise.

I quickly walked into my room and saw Max lying on my bed fast asleep with manga books all over the bed. I quickly put the books on the floor and tucked Max in. I then grabbed a clean t shirt, underwear and a pair of pyjama shorts before heading back to Alec's room quietly so I didn't wake Max up. When I got in I heard the shower already running so I stripped off my dress and walked into the shower. (Stuff happens in the shower I'm not going to put smut in this story so sorry if your disappointed)
