Chapter 2 Is Your Life Really That Bad?

The rest of the day was ok because I was really excited. Next we went to lunch and all the girls sit at one table and the boys sit and two tables next to our's. I turned to Haley and said "Daniel asked me to go skating with him tonight". She replied "OMG really? We could have a double date!". I said " Actually I'd rather not I just want to hang out with all my friends at once and not ignore them and Im not calling this a date, just hanging out" she said "Well because your no fun" and she turned away and left the cafeteria to go the bathroom. I walked out of the cafeteria into the bathroom and i saw Haley with a blade slicing her wrist. I ran to her and whispered "What is wrong with you? Why do you continue to do this when there is nothing wrong with your life?" she replied "Justin just texted me and said that he doesn't want to date me anymore" while crying. I knew he would breakup with her sooner or later because they just don't get along that well, but i knew the real reason why she was crying, she knew that she would have to be seen in public without a boyfriend. I left the bathroom in disgust and walked up stairs to my next class (language arts). When I got to class Daniel wasn't there.

After language arts it was back to homeroom for 15 minutes then i could leave this hell hole. I packed my things including my homework and walked out into the hallway when car riders were called, but Daniel still wasn't there and the only thing that came to my mind was that he had skipped class. I walked down the steps and was startled when i heard this "De'Anna wait up" it was Daniel! I asked him where he went and he replied "I had to finish my project for Mrs.Davi", when i heard that I was so relieved that the boy liked didn't skip class, because i wouldn't want to deal with that.

"Daniel's POV"

I couldn't believe that De'Anna actually said yes! She had beautiful blonde hair and big hazel eyes. We both did alot of the same things like we both took art after school on Tuesdays, went skating on Friday nights, and we both played soccer together. Im not ready for a relationship and I don't think she is either, but I know that she has a crush on me but I don't think she know that I like her. Maggie is her bestfriend and I don't like her too much and I wouldn't want to hang out with her that often. If De'Anna and I were in a relationship I hope that wouldn't affect us. I don't like alot of De'Anna's friends like Debbie, Jasmine, Victoria, and Maggie. When im around her friends I just try to grab De'Anna and pull her away from them and get her to come over to my friends. But tonight im going skating and I wanted De'Anna to hangout with me but of coarse De'Anna just texted me that Maggie, Jasmine, Victoria, and Debbie are going. Great! Now how am I going to hang out with her when she's going to want to be with them?

Sorry this chapter is long i just wanted it to make more sense than spreading it all apart but remember Maggie, Debbie, Jasmine and Victoria because you will hear of them later on in the story.
