Class ended, and we started walking to lunch. Alice was essentially skipping down the hall, while Jasper and I trailed behind her.

The line for food was long, and while I'm not necessarily hungry, I still want to be with them, as clingy as that is. I grabbed a bottle of lemonade, while Jasper grabbed food for the both of them.

"Aren't you going to get anything to eat?" Alice questions. I shook my head in response. "Ok, well just tell us if you are, we have plenty for all of us." She states.

"Thanks, guys, I appreciate it," I respond. And without missing a beat, she resumes her skipping, with us trailing behind her again.

Apparently, walking with some of the most elusive people in the school draws attention. We were halfway across the cafeteria by the time I noticed the lingering eyes. And as if to draw more attention to us, Jasper twirled Alice.

Twirled her.

He turned to me as if expecting to twirl me. I look down. And while I was comfortable enough to consider myself friends with them, I couldn't do it. There is too much trust in giving someone control of how you move. Too much.

Eventually, he got the idea and took back his outstretched hand. When we arrived at a table, their table, the first thing I noticed was all white. They looked like they wanted to stand out. All white? Who does that?

I sat down next to Jasper and a stunningly beautiful blonde. The giant brute beside her spoke up, "I'm Emmett, and this is my girlfriend, Rosalie." I nodded and responded quietly, "I'm Lexi."

Needless to say, their presence is intimidating.

And just when I thought the uncomfortable introductions were over, another one just appeared. The only thing that happened after this was him briefly saying his name, Edward, and turning to resume conversation with Alice. Okay, rude.

With enough words being spoken apparently, I sat quietly and drank my lemonade. I zoned out because the next thing I know is that someone is snapping, literally snapping to get my attention. I looked to my left, towards Jasper and shot him a questioning glance. He shrugged.

"Hey, Lexi can I see your schedule?" Alice asks. I nod and hand her the piece of paper. She looks at it and nods, almost affirmingly. I shake it off.

"Okay so, you have Bio with Jasper and me, History with Jasper, then Math, English, French, and Gym by yourself, and then Free hour with all of us," she mumbles out monotonously, a slight smile on her face.

"I mean at least I know some people in a few classes." I suppose. She hands me my schedule back and then stands up and throws her uneaten food away, grabbing my bottle along the way. When people begin to trickle out of the cafeteria slowly, we make the executive decision to start heading to class.

When Jasper and I got to class, he went and grabbed a table while I had my paper slip signed. I walked back towards him and dropped my bag on the floor and sat down.

Class started, and I realized I had no idea what was happening. I leaned left and whispered, "What are you guys learning right now?" Civil War was the response that came from him. And I could swear I saw a smile coming from him. Must love history a lot.

The class flew by, and the teacher grew bored, letting us talk with each other for the last ten minutes. I turned to Jasper and asked, "Could you tell me about your family?" As if startled, he jumped slightly at the sound of my voice. He turned and smiles, "Sure thing. All of us are adopted, Rose and I being the only ones related. We're twins." I look at him for a minute, slightly confused. Twins?

"You two are twins? Why do you have an accent and she doesn't?"

He breathes in deeply at my question, "Normally, I like my accent, but not up here, not in Washington. It's out of place." I nod in response, not knowing how to respond to him.

All I know is that I really like his accent.

The bell rang, and we gathered our things and left. Jasper, being the gentleman that he is, walked me to my next class. I dropped next to Bella and waited for class to start.

Great, Math.
