Hello kings, queens and everything in between!

First of, I'd like to apologize for taking sooo long to update. I've been really busy with studying. I'm so bad at keeping up with the things I have to do and my motivation and concentration are no where to be found... College does that.

But yeah, I hope this chapter is enough for the time being even though it's a bit short so, sorry, again.

Nevertheless, hope you enjoy! Xx

The Queen and Princess had spent the whole afternoon together in the Stone Room, telling each other stories about their homes. Muriel, who was not someone who could sit inside all day, had offered to get some fresh air, which Lucy agreed to. They had wandered towards the targets where the Narnians usually trained and Lucy had insisted that Muriel watched as she threw her dagger. The Princess was to say impressed by the throwing skill of the Valiant Queen. She hit bullseye almost every time, and when she missed it was because Muriel tried to distract her.

The dagger hit the middle of the target with a thud for the seventh time in a row, and Muriel smiled at Lucy when the latter turned her head to show a confident smirk.

"See! Now let me try with my eyes closed!"

Muriel laughed and shook her head in amusement saying, "Alright, now you're just boosting your confidence."

Lucy giggled and walked towards the target to retrieve the dagger she'd gotten from Father Christmas years ago. She had to move it around a bit before she could pull it out. The dagger looked a bit like Peter's sword but was way smaller, yet the red handle and the golden lion head were the same.

"I could teach you," spoke Lucy when she walked back to her spot next to Muriel, because she'd seen Muriel's looks of astonishment every time she threw her small weapon.

But Muriel shook her head after thinking for a few seconds. Although she would very much like to be taught dagger throwing by Lucy herself, she knew she would never get the hang of it. "Thank you Lucy, but my aim has always been off and I think I'll stick to my sword for now."

Lucy understood, but was not ready to give up yet. "You can ask Susan if she'll help you! She's very good with bow and arrow."

"I'm very good with bow and arrow too, you know?"

The two girl were greeted by Caspian when they turned around. Lucy shook her head and protested with a mischievous smile, "I think Susan should teach her, she never misses."

Caspian returned the smile and Muriel saw the amusement in his eyes. "Nor do I."

Lucy was ready to stand up for her older sister and start debating with Caspian over who was better at archery when Muriel, who didn't even want to learn how to shoot, stopped the two. She walked towards a pile of weapons and picked up a bow and one arrow, then walked back to Lucy and Caspian.

The two were staring at her when she nocked the arrow and drew the string back to the corner of her eye, like she'd done some times before. She could feel her arms getting tired already as she held the string back for too long, Muriel looked at the target and tried her best to aim. However, when she released the arrow it didn't even hit the target, but instead the arrow landed into the ground behind it.

Muriel lowered the bow and blew some hair away from her face. "See, I don't think I can learn how to shoot in such a short period of time."

Lucy and Caspian laughed at the sad attempt and Muriel joined them, she didn't mind that archery wasn't something she was good at, she could swing a sword after all. Speaking of her sword, Muriel suddenly missed the feeling of her weapon, which used to be fastened around her hip, softly hitting her leg when she walked. After 'moving in' with Nikabrik, Trumpkin and Trufflehunter, her sword became somewhat a burden to walk and sit with, because everything was a lot smaller than in her normal home.
