The amount of times Muriel tripped over the hem of her dress were uncountable as she, Peter, Edmund and Trumpkin ran towards the Stone Room.

Peter, who had noticed that Muriel was struggling to keep up, grabbed her by the arm and started dragging her along with them. The High King wondered why women even bothered with dresses, they had to be extremely uncomfortable to fight and run in.

But the dress was not their biggest concern right now. Their biggest concern was the air that became colder and colder with each step they took.

Meanwhile, Caspian was standing in the middle of the Stone Room. The cold air started to surround him as he watched, horror written on his face, as Nikabrik, the ugly hag and the werewolf started some sort of ritual. The werewolf started drawing a circle on the ground while the hag chanted words in a language unknown to the prince.

But the thing that shocked Caspian the most was the ice wall that emerged when Nikabrik stuck a wand in the ground. As soon as the ice wall had grown to its full length, covering the image of Aslan, the white witch appeared.

Caspian staggered back, shaking his head as he realized his mistake, "wait... This isn't what I wanted!"

His eyes widened in fear when he met the eyes of a woman. The dress that covered her long, slender body was white, almost matching the pale color of her skin. Her hair floated around her slim face. There was a small smile on her lips as she spoke, but it didn't seem genuine. "One drop of Adam's blood and you free me. Then I am yours, my king."

The White Witch slowly extended her hand as the werewolf stopped Caspian from moving further away. "No!"

The werewolf extended Caspian's arm and grabbed his hand so that the hag could cut it. Caspian gritted his teeth as the dagger pierced through his skin, blood soon trickled down his hand.

When Caspian looked up at the White Witch again, the look of fear in his eyes was slowly replaced by a look of admiration. He stared at the woman, suddenly captured by her beauty and by her smile. The Prince stopped resisting, his hand still stretched out.

But before the evil woman could reach him, a voice echoed through the room, "STOP!"

It was Peter's voice. He, Edmund, Trumpkin and Muriel ran into the room. The two Kings and the dwarve quickly drew their swords, causing Muriel to realize she appeared weaponless. She mumbled inappropriate words under her breath as she realized her mistake, but there was no time to think about it.

Muriel quickly stepped back when the werewolf crawled over the Stone Table to attack. Her eyes widened when the beast jumped over them, missing her, and the rest, by only inches. Peter ran to the right, only to be attacked by the hag, while Trumpkin went after Nikabrik.

All Muriel could do was watch as Peter's sword was knocked out of his hands by the hag. She could see he wanted to get to Caspian, but he couldn't do that without his sword and neither could she. But Muriel was stubborn and seeing Caspian stand there in front of the White Witch with his hand outstretched still, made her want to get to him.

Edmund was too busy fighting the werewolf and didn't hear Muriel's quick footsteps over the sound of its howling.

Seeing as how Peter was fighting the hag on the right and Trumpkin Nikabrik on the left, Muriel had no other choice than to climb over the Stone Table to reach Caspian. But before she could gather her skirt and lift her leg the painful wimpers of Lucy caught her attention.

The Princess of Archenland turned around quickly and saw how Nikabrik was holding the Valiant Queen with her arm on her back, taking the dagger from her. A soft gasp escaped her lips when Nikabrik pushed Lucy to the ground. Muriel was moving towards the traitor dwarve to stop him, even if she didn't have a weapon. For a second it seemed like Nikabrik hesitated, but then Trumpkin stabbed his -former- best friend from behind.
