Can't Go By

"I am not perfect.
Nor will I ever claim to be so. But, the moment I thought about it, thought about all of the times where I've been given compliments, and absent mindedly said thank you, when I really didn't think so, and really thought that they were just "being nice", I stopped. I realized that that is not a way to go by life. You can't go by just thinking your okay, or not good. You can't just live like that, because by doing that, you're proving to anyone that's ever told you otherwise is right. You can't let them win. So, prove them wrong. I'm not saying change yourself. I'm saying love yourself. And if you can't, then change your mind to love yourself. That's what I'm trying to do. It's going to take a while, but, when you get there, it will feel amazing."
